Four powerful features of FXSkull_LineAlerter

1. Automatic horizontal/diagonal detection & color change

When you drag a line, it instantly determines whether it is horizontal or diagonal. When horizontal, it stays the configured color (initially orange); the moment it becomes diagonal, it changes to another color (initially Deep Sky Blue), giving you a visual cue of the state.

2. Powerful horizontal magnet (snapping) function

Relieve the frustration of drawing perfect horizontal lines manually. If the misalignment is within the specified pips, releasing the mouse automatically snaps to a perfect horizontal line (correction).

3. Smart alert judgment

Horizontal lines alert while extending into future price (good for range placements). For diagonal lines, the evaluation ends at the visible right edge, reducing false positives from past trend lines.

4. Visualization of activated lines

Once an alert has sounded, the line automatically switches to a thin gray dotted line, releasing the alert-wait state. You can instantly tell which lines have been activated.

Basic usage

Create a line:Click the “Add Line” button on the chart to generate a short line near the current price.
Move/extend the line:The generated line is selected. Drag the center knob to move, or drag the end knobs to adjust length and angle.
Snapping to horizontal:Even if diagonal (blue) is selected, releasing the mouse near horizontal will snap to orange horizontal.
Delete a line:Double-click the line to instantly delete it.

■ Installation steps

Save the provided ZIP file to your computer.
Right-click the ZIP file and select "Extract All" to unzip the folder.
Check the .ex4 file inside the extracted folder.
Launch MT4 and select File → Open Data Folder from the menu.

Open the following folders in the opened directory.

・ Data Folder
└─ ・MQL4
   └─ ・Indicators

Copy the .ex4 file and paste it intoIndicators folder.
Return to MT4, right-click "Indicators" in the Navigator, and select "Refresh".
Drag and drop the indicator from the list onto a chart.
Adjust parameters as needed and click OK to apply.
