This method is price action based on candlesticks only, without using indicators.

Markets have a principle that after a strong initial move, there is a tendency to revert temporarily, and this principle is read from candlestick information to capture the temporary move back.
By using the above, you can identify high-probability entry points and trade.

Candlesticks are said to contain all information. Therefore it is simple, yet logical, and highly extensible.
Even though it is excellent by default, I felt that the expected value could be increased further by applying various filtering in environment recognition.

ENTRY LOGICEntry Logic

※The following describes a buy entry. The sell entry uses the opposite logic.

STEP.1

Confirm a bullish candle with no lower wick.

STEP.2

Confirm that a bullish candle forms on the next bar.

STEP.3

Wait for a bearish candle to form and confirm it.

STEP.4

Enter a buy at the opening price of the next bar.

JUDGEMENTWin/Loss Determination

A win occurs if the move extends in the entry direction on the next single candle (difference between the previous candle's close and the entry candle's close).

This method is mainly effective during the day in Japan time and after 9:00 PM NY time.
Trading is possible with currencies and timeframes other than the recommended ones, but for those not familiar, we recommend trading at the recommended times.

Additionally, when using higher-timeframe support/resistance not aligned with the displayed chart, the line zones can be too wide, which may reduce the edge for a single-candle trade.
In general, higher timeframes provide greater edge, but caution is needed when applying support/resistance filtering in this regard.

Do you have any recommendations for filtering?

This method is a temporary trend-following approach, so confirming direction on higher timeframes is effective. For example, viewing the relationship and angles with moving averages on 5-minute and 15-minute charts can improve accuracy. Also, avoiding ranging markets or markets with unpredictable moves can significantly affect win rate.

Can it be used for scalping?

This method is a very short-term binary technique but also a temporary trend-following approach, so it should be possible. Please ensure adequate environment recognition and testing when using it.

Are there indicators that do not pair well with this indicator?

This indicator has no complex features, so it can be used with any indicator without worry.

Does this indicator repaint the signals?

Entry and exit (win/loss) signals do not repaint for past bars, so you can trust them. However, when using MTF settings, the latest bar’s unrevealed MTF time can repaint on the current bar, so please note.

When you purchase, do the indicators used in the logic come with it?

All indicators used in the logic of the Method Series are included, so please rest assured. These logic indicators are original versions with MTF functionality and adjustable buffers that we created from scratch.

Will there be a manual or guide?

In addition to the main product, a detailed PDF is included covering troubleshooting when indicators don’t display, how to introduce iCustom (automatic trading tools), pseudo-MTF settings, and the implemented support/resistance filtering.
