This tool expands the zigzag function that comes standard with MT4,allowing for visual and intuitive chart analysis.

Trends are instantly recognizable! Two-color coding

　Based on Dow Theory, the zigzag is color-coded based on retracement highs/lows.
Additionally, you can draw lines at the currentretracement high or low, and the highest or lowest point.

Colors can be changed to any desired color in the settings.
Zigzag can be selected based on body or wick.
This indicator recommends drawing based on the body. (As the body is often more important for analysis)

Price lines can also be used hidden. (There is a toggle function to show/hide with a key press)

Multi-timeframe analysis on a single chart

You can simultaneously draw the zigzag of any higher timeframe within the same chart.
It is also possible to use just one zigzag.

Simple backtesting function

By pressing the setting key, you can perform simple backtesting from the current display position (date and time at the right edge of the chart).
You can easily observe how the retracement highs/lows changed at that time and how the zigzag was formed.
Other charts can also be moved in sync. (This can be changed in the settings)

The future chart does not become invisible from the reference position. It simply moves the display position.

A mechanism that makes it easier to form intuitive peaks (valleys) than regular zigzags
The granularity of typical zigzag waves is almost determined by "Depth".
However, price movements have various shapes, and there are situations where adjusting "Depth" does not yield the expected waves.
Such situations may arise.

Typical zigzag

A granularity of about "Depth: 12" is good, but many waves are ignored.
If you set "Depth: 7", it becomes too fine.
　　

This indicator uses a unique logic,making it easier to draw a zigzag that feels natural.
It is adjusted to capture the intended waves more easily than typical zigzags, but
since it is not AI, there may still be some areas that feel unnatural.

Does not repaint confirmed peaks (valleys)
This tool does not set one of the configuration values found in typical zigzags, "Backstep".

It is designed to be a tool for real-time analysis, so the previous peak (valley) is deleted and repainting
can cause confusion in entry judgment in some cases.
Repainting can delay entry judgment or occur after already entering,
and it may hinder performing similar analyses as in the past.
Even if it does not repaint, the zigzag can be drawn without issues.
（Strictly speaking, there may be slight changes in the positions of peaks (valleys), but this indicator does not mind.)

Other convenient features

By setting the key, you can toggle thedisplay/hideof the zigzag.
（Depending on the settings, you can also toggle the zigzag of other charts in sync.)
