The "Maintenance Rate Calculator" indicator Introduction of

1 . Outline

A "maintenance rate calculator" indicator that calculates and displays the maintenance rate.

Displays how much the balance, effective margin, margin requirement, excess margin, margin maintenance ratio, and open interest valuation profit/loss for the currently displayed charted currency pair will change by opening a new position.

2 . Characteristics

Free of charge.

3 . FEATURES

( a) Calculate and display what the maintenance rate would be if one new lot were opened.

( b) Calculate and display how many lots are required to achieve a 500% maintenance ratio.

( c) The number of lots and the value of the maintenance rate can be changed by parameters.

( d)

　　In the case of split entries, the number of lots after the split is displayed.

Color display color can be changed by the user.

The basic assumption is a black back screen, but if you have a white back screen, please change the color to one that is easier to see.

4 . Setting Parameters

( a) Lot

The number of new lots to be built.

( b) Percentage of maintenance

The number of lots is automatically calculated to be above this maintenance rate.

5 . How to use

Drag and drop the ex4 file into MT4 as you would with a regular indicator.

On the General tab, check the "Allow use of DLLs " checkbox.

Displays the calculated results with the number of lots set by the parameter.

■500% maintenance rate ■ ■ with the mouse, the number of lots that will satisfy the 500% maintenance ratio will be calculated and displayed.

■ Lot 1.00 ■ ■ with the mouse, the maintenance rate is calculated and displayed when the lot is set to 1.00.

The left side of the screen shows the current value and the right side shows the result of the calculation. By opening a lot of a certain value, you can see how the numbers change.

　The lot number display now also shows the number of lots after splitting. The orange [lots=0.25]:split4 shows the number of lots after splitting and the number of splits. It is simply the number of lots divided by the number of splits, rounded down to two decimal places.

6 . Example of display

1 The margin requirement to open a lot is 16,797.

1Spread Loss at the time the lot was built is -12,969.

The effective margin is reduced by Spread Loss to 373,988.

The margin requirement increases by only 16,797 to 37,220.

Surplus margin is reduced by 29,766 only to 336,767.

The margin maintenance ratio is 1004.79%.

The open interest valuation profit/loss is reduced by -12,969, which is 39,690.

Now let's click on the ■Maintenance Rate 500%■ in the center.

The results are shown in the following figure.

Lot display changed to 2.93.

We can see that in order to keep the maintenance rate at 500%, the number of lots must be less than 2.93. If the number of lots is set to 2.93, the maintenance rate would be 501%, but since the number of lots is to two decimal places, the maintenance rate would not be exactly 500%.

Strictly speaking, the calculation results are different for the buy and sell cases, but we ignore the details and display the calculation results based only on the Bid value. This should be sufficient to understand the relationship between the number of lots and the maintenance rate.

This is the case of an excessive number of lots by mistake.

If the number of lots is set to 15, the figure below is shown.

Surplus margin is negative and margin maintenance ratio is below 100%.

In such cases, the display color will be red.

Please do not trade in excessive lots.
