About EA's Strategy
Translating...
Nice to meet you.FX Method Verification ChannelMy name is Tsutsumi.
This channel builds the question “Does that method really win?” into a program (EA) without leaving any vague rules,so that anyone can achieve identical results with 100% reproducibility in backtests. This product is one of the most popular in that verification series,“RCI 4 Full-Strength Trend Following Method”and is offered in the exact same EA used for the verification.
It is the opposite of a so-called “black-box EA with secret inner workings.”Please confirm through this page and the video the rules for entering, where to cut losses, and how to grow profits —before you decide.
■ First, watch the 24-minute verification video
It explains the mechanism of the method and the entire backtest process in a way understandable to FX beginners. This video is the “complete manual for this EA” and at the same time the “proof of performance.”
🎁 Free gift: the “4-RCI display” indicator
The indicator included with the video, which can display up to 4 RCIs with different periods (MT4 and MT5 versions included), is available for free download from GogoJungle’s distribution page. First display 4 RCIs on your own chart and compare with the video.

| Currency pair / timeframe | USDJPY / 1-hour chart (H1) |
| Equity curve | 1,000,000 yen →22,250,000 yen (about 22x) with 1% risk per trade, compounded |
| Profit factor | 1.42 |
| Maximum drawdown | 26.0% |
| Trades / win rate | 1,992 trades (about 190 per year) / 45.6% (average RR ≈ 1.7 risk-reward) |
| Years with losses | Zero (10 years 3 months, no losing year) |
※ In domestic broker (Gaitame Finest) MT4, measured with Tick Data Suite actual tick + real variable spreads (model quality 99.9%), swaps included. This is historical data and does not indicate future results. The EA trading rules are identical to the video and the MT4 version; the MT5 report below confirms similar results with MT5 actual ticks. The HTML report for this page is also accessible from the Backtest section. This is a backtest result based on past data and does not guarantee future performance.
▼ Yearly performance (risk 1% with compounding, same conditions as the video)
| Year | Trades | PF | Annual P/L | Ending balance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2016 | 197 | 1.25 | +¥161,537 | ¥1,161,537 |
| 2017 | 186 | 1.51 | +¥383,861 | ¥1,545,398 |
| 2018 | 193 | 1.39 | +¥368,217 | ¥1,913,615 |
| 2019 | 226 | 1.34 | +¥687,403 | ¥2,601,018 |
| 2020 | 181 | 1.14 | +¥339,037 | ¥2,940,055 |
| 2021 | 194 | 1.98 | +¥2,778,695 | ¥5,718,750 |
| 2022 | 190 | 1.99 | +¥4,095,294 | ¥9,814,044 |
| 2023 | 196 | 1.14 | +¥970,741 | ¥10,784,785 |
| 2024 | 203 | 1.89 | +¥9,455,009 | ¥20,239,794 |
| 2025 | 179 | 1.07 | +¥1,075,895 | ¥21,315,689 |
| 2026 Q1 | 47 | 1.21 | +¥942,681 | ¥22,258,370 |
What you should focus on is not the explosive power after 2021, butthe fact that even in years with poor performance (2020, 2023, 2025), it stayed positive. Given 10 years, market leaders change many times. Even when USD/JPY is stagnant, or during the pandemic, or during historic yen weakness and its pullbacks, all are included in this 10 years 3 months. Surviving all of that and having “no losing year”—this is the EA’s biggest boast.

※ The report above is from the MT5 version EA (same build as this product) run in MT5 Strategy Tester with real tick data (history quality 99% real ticks + real spreads). While there are slight differences in total profit (2,058万円), PF 1.42, 1,996 trades due to platform differences, the trading rules are exactly the same as the video and the MT4 version. The HTML report for this page is also available from the Backtest section of this page.Past data cannot guarantee future results.
■ Overview of this EA
- Method:Zero-cross trend-following using 4 RCIs. Three different logics (A・Z65・Z26) run concurrently
- Verification conditions:USDJPY / 1-hour chart (parameters can be changed to other currency pairs and timeframes)
- RCI:4 RCIs with periods 26 / 52 / 65 / 135 (periods can be changed)
- Entries:Short-term RCI zero-cross + agreement of long-term RCI (determined on the last completed candle, then market-entry at next candle’s open)=Non-repainting)
- Stop loss:Automatically set outside the recent completed swing based on market structureAlways place a stop loss on every position
- Take profit:No fixed take profit. Move to break-even at +1R → ride until opposite zero-cross; take profit at RCI ±80; cut losses after 30 bars
- Positions:1 logic = 1 position × 3 logics = up to 3 positions simultaneously (use with hedging account)
- Nampin/Martingale:Not used at all
- Delivery format:MT5 EA main body (RCI_MultiHorizon.ex5) + Visual Indicator (RCI_MultiHorizon_Visual.ex5)
■ What’s inside the method — Why four?
The page does not say “trade with a sophisticated algorithm.” It explains the mechanism completely.
RCI is the market’s “temperature gauge of momentum”
RCI (Rank Correlation Index) expresses how cleanly the market is rising or falling on a scale from −100 to +100. A classic oscillator loved by Japanese professional traders. Common usage is overbought/oversold at ±80 for counter-trend, but when measured in advance,counter-trend at ±80 is basically a tie once spreads are included. Although RCI itself is excellent, its typical usage was a missed opportunity.
So the idea flips.Use RCI crossing the 0 line as the “start signal of an uptrend,” and follow it with the trend-following approach.

Different RCIs for near and far — “close-up view” and “long view”
RCI’s character changes with the calculation period. For hourly charts, 26 = about 1 day, 52 = about 2 days, 65 = about 3 days, 135 = about 1 week.Short RCIs react quickly but have many whipsaws; long RCIs react slowly but follow the major flow

A standard is 3 RCIs, but in this method, the four RCIs 26 / 52 / 65 / 135 are stacked in one sub-window, forming two pairs of short/long signals to createthree logics.

Common pattern: “short RCI zero-cross” × “long RCI agreement”
It’s like crossing a crosswalk.Confirm the signal on the near term (short RCI) is green, then ensure no vehicle is coming on the far term (long RCI) before crossing. You don’t cross with only one signal. This aims for safe initial action that follows the big trend. All judgments are made on completed candles, and entries are made at the open of the next candle.Repainted arrows that move later cannot happen due to the structure.

Three logics — three traders with different personalities

🅰 Logic A — Ride the fast, short waves (RCI 26 × 52)
Targets short waves of 1–2 days, the fastest to respond. After a 2-bar look, enter to reduce whipsaws, and ride the trend until the opposite zero-cross appears.

🅩 Logic Z65 — Target large waves gently (RCI 65 × 135)
Targets large moves from days to a week, the steady type. When RCI65 reaches ±80, decide it’s time to take profit. Use ±80 not as a reason to enter, but as a reason to exit — a shift in thinking. If a position stays without extension for 30 bars, cut and retreat.

🅩 Logic Z26 — Confirm short-term momentum with a larger trend (RCI 26 × 135)
A balanced type that backs the quick initial move with a roughly week-long larger trend, and additionallyavoids new entries on days with price action more than about twice normal. It aims for calm markets and prudent trading.

■ Exit strategy — Why even with a 45% win rate the capital grows
To be honest. This EA’s win rate is 45.6%, less than half.Yet the capital grew 22x over 10 years 3 months thanks entirely to the exit design.
- Stop loss outside market structure— Just outside the most recent completed swing (valley/peak). It’s placed so that if this line is breached, the decision would have been wrong, so it’s designed not to trigger at meaningless levels.
- Move to break-even at +1R— When profit equals initial risk, raise stop to near break-even to create a “nearly unlosable” position.
- Win not predetermined— Do not fix take-profit targets; ride until the opposite zero-cross; use ±80 (Z65) and 30-bar stop-outs to ensure “small losses, big wins.”

As a result, the average risk-reward is about 1.7.Even if you win only 4 times out of 10, as long as wins are 1.7x larger than losses, the total grows— this math of small losses and big wins is what the EA can do over ten years without emotion.
■ Why run all three together at once
We learned through testing:Which logic works changes year by year. In one year only Z65 leads, in another year Z26 is the main driver, and in another year only A profits—if you had bet on just one type, you would have struggled for an entire year somewhere.

Therefore, run all three different-timeframe models from the start. In baseball terms, line up three different batters in the lineup. If one underperforms, another one will hit. “Zero losing years in 10 years” is not the result of a single genius logic, butthe record created by this diversified design.
■ Include a visible indicator identical to the video
Some people worry about not seeing the EA’s internals — to address that,a dedicated visual indicator (RCI_MultiHorizon_Visual.ex5) that renders exactly like the video is included.
- In a sub-window4 RCIsand 0/±80 lines
- Entry arrows(color for logic, shape for trade direction) and judgment markers
- Movement of stop-loss line(from initial to break-even to trailing, color changes)
- Exit markers(take profit / stop / break-even) and realized R display
- Top-rightDashboard(current RCI, volatility, positions of 3 logics, balance)
This indicator isfor display only, drawing values calculated by the EA as-is. The indicator has no decision logic, sodisplay and EA actual behavior are not contradictory by design. If you overlay it on Strategy Tester’s visual mode, you can “watch” your own backtest on the same screen as the video. It’s included so you can reproduce the video’s scenery on your own chart after purchase.
■ For those who are not good with compounding — we also publish a simple interest result
Compounding 22x is appealing, but later stakes grow large and drawdown grows as well. Therefore,we also publish a simple interest result with a fixed risk per trade of 10,000 yen.
| Capital management | Fixed risk 10,000 yen (simple interest); others are the same as compounding |
| Net profit (10 years 3 months) | +¥3,420,000(¥1,000,000 → ¥4,420,000) |
| Profit factor | 1.50 |
| Maximum drawdown | 11.9% |
| Years with losses |

※ Verification conditions are the same as the compounding scenario (Gaitame Finest MT4, real ticks, variable spreads, swaps included). These are backtests on historical data and do not guarantee future performance.
Capital management methods include“balance percentage (compound)”, “fixed risk amount (simple),” “fixed lot size”, selectable from a dropdown. Start with simple or smaller risk to observe behavior, then move to compounding as you gain experience.
■ Settings are kept “as default” to match the video, but all editable
If you install on the chart with the default settings, it will run under the same conditions as the video verification (USDJPY, H1, 1% risk, compounding). No complicated setup is required.

| Parameter | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Execution timeframe | H1 | Timeframe for decisions and trades. Changeable via dropdown (verification and recommendation is H1) |
| Logic A / Z65 / Z26 | All true | Toggle each of the three logics on/off individually (three on equals video conditions) |
| RCI periods (4) | 26 / 52 / 65 / 135 | Four RCIs calculation periods. Change freely (included indicator auto-synced) |
| Broker GMT offset / DST | GMT+2 / US-style | Same server time zone as the verification. For different brokers, adjust GMT offset / DST rules as described in the manual |
| Capital management method | Balance percentage | Balance percentage (compound) / Fixed risk amount (simple) / Fixed lot |
| One-trade risk (balance %) | 1.0 | Initial value 1.0% matches video verification。1% is recommended |
| Lot cap / Max concurrent / Slippage | 100 / 3 / 10 | Safeguard. Max 3 positions concurrently (1 per logic) |
| Magic number base | 20260710 | Identification when using with other EAs or on multiple charts |
| Visual linkage (3 items) | true / blank / 500 | Display linkage to included indicator.Does not affect trading behavior |
For details on each parameter and setup steps, please refer to theProduct Manualwith images after purchase.
For those who love testing — this EA is handed to you as a “lab”
There is no restriction on currency pair or timeframe (recommended and tested on USDJPY H1; it can be placed on gold XAUUSD, etc.). RCI periods, logics, and risk management are all adjustable via parameters. In Strategy Tester, you can optimize to find the “effective period” for various currencies —your own unique testing. Please use it extensively. The channel’s testing can be replicated as-is (USDJPY H1 is tested; others not). Backtest yourself before use.
- Resilient to restarts:Even if MT5 or a VPS restarts while a position is open, break-even movement state and number of bars are restored automatically and management continues
- Multiple charts running OK:Can be installed on multiple currency pairs/timeframes in one account (if using the same currency pair with multiple timeframes, you must adjust the magic number)
- All positions require SL; no averaging down:There is no feature to “salt away” positions
■ Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can a first-timer use FX automated trading?
A. Yes. Install on USDJPY 1-hour chart with default settings and it will operate under the same conditions as the video. The installation steps are described in the product manual with images, and all parameters are in Japanese.
Q. What is the recommended margin?
A. The same conditions as the video (1% risk with compounding) were tested with an initial capital of 1,000,000 yen. If you start with less, you can use the “Fixed Risk Amount” method to keep loss per trade small. If the calculated lot falls below the minimum lot (0.01), it will not force trades; it will skip those trades for safety.
Q. Do you use pyramiding or martingale?
A. Not at all. All positions are opened with a stop loss; losing trades are closed by stop loss — a “small losses, large wins” approach. The win rate is honestly around 45%.
Q. Is it normal to have 2 or 3 positions simultaneously?
A. Yes. Since the three logics operate independently, up to 3 positions can be held simultaneously (1 per logic). Each has its own stop loss, break-even shift, and take-profit management. If positions sum to one, your account is likely a netting account. This EA should be used with a Hedging account (which allows multiple positions on the same currency pair).
Q. What market is difficult for it?
A. Ranging markets with no direction can cause small losses due to zero-cross whipsaw. There were such periods in the test, but by bounding the stop loss by structure and maximizing wins, the annual result stayed positive. No guarantees for the future. This is not a guarantee of future performance. Please check the video verification for details.
Q. Is a VPS required?
A. It can run on a home Windows PC if MT5 is always on. For 24/7 stability, VPS is widely used. This is an hourly chart EA, so trade timing does not require second-level precision.
Q. Will it work with any broker?
A. Yes, with MT5 accounts that have Japanese-denominated margin and hedging allowed. There is no broker restriction. The verification was performed in GMT+2 US-style DST server environment; with brokers in different server times, adjust the GMT offset and DST rules as described in the manual. Spreads and swaps differ by broker, affecting performance.
Q. Can I run this with another EA on the same account?
A. Yes. This EA uses a unique magic number to strictly manage its own positions and does not touch other EAs or manual positions.
Q. Will the backtest produce the same results as the video?
A. The trading rules are identical to the video EA. In MT5, if you choose “Realistic ticks” for the model, you can test with broker-provided real ticks to approximate actual trading. However, ticks and spreads vary by broker, which may cause differences. The manual details proper execution steps (model selection, deposit 1,000,000, currency JPY, etc.).
Q. How can I verify if it’s a hedging account?
A. In MT5, check the top of the “Toolbox” → “Trade” tab or account information. Many brokers offer “hedging” when opening an account. If only netting accounts are available, this EA cannot be used.
Q. Is there a MT4 version?
A. Yes.▶ MT4 version sales page here(MT4 version has no hedging/netting distinction).

■ Before purchase: items to confirm
1) This EA is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 (MT5). This page is the MT5 version page.
2) It can be used on a margin account denominated in yen. It cannot be used on accounts denominated in dollars or euros.
3) It was developed and tested with USDJPY / 1-hour timeframe. Other currency pairs/timeframes can be used (parameters adjustable), but there is no guarantee on performance. Please backtest yourself before use.
4) Because three logics run simultaneously, up to 3 positions can be held at once (1 per logic). Please use MT5 with a hedging account (multiple positions on the same currency pair).Netting accounts sum positions, causing incorrect behavior.
5) This EA was produced for verification videos and is now sold for those who want to reproduce the same verification or use it in actual trading. You must perform your own backtests and use it at your own risk.
6) All shown results are backtests on historical data and do not guarantee future performance. Depending on market conditions, there may be periods where it does not function as expected. Use with extra capital.
7) The source code of this EA is protected by copyright. Decompiling (reverse engineering), redistribution, and resale are strictly prohibited.
■ Finally — From the creator
This EA is not a “magic box that always makes money when installed.” It has a 45% win rate and includes losses, a grounded trend-following EA. Nevertheless, where to enter, where to give up, and how far to extend—everything inside is disclosed in the video and on this page.
What the verification channel values most is that results are the same for anyone who uses it. So we convert the rules into an EA, verify with real ticks, and show the screen exactly as is. See the video for the credibility of these numbers.
And for users who purchase, if you adapt the RCIs’ periods, change currency pairs, and run your own verifications, you can cultivate your own personal EA —I would be honored as the creator.
Then, see you in the video 😊

Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.
To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.
When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
