Product Overview
First, how to read the numbers on this page
Most publicly disclosed backtests are “gross” values that omit trading fees and swaps.Exclude them.
The numbers on this page are reported as net (after deducting approximately $700 in fees and swaps over 10 years 7 months, i.e., the net amount. All numbers are net.
| Notation | Net profit | PF |
|---|---|---|
| Page notation (net = take-home) | +$4,168 | 1.58 |
| If converted to the common gross notation used by others | approx 1.8 |
“In live operation, results are worse than backtests” — the biggest reason for this gap is trading costs.
This EA starts with net take-home performance including costs. When comparing, please check whether other EAs’ published values are “included” or “excluded”.
Gold has entered an era where it moves $170 per day
In 2024, gold rose by +26% for the year. The daily average move was $33.
In 2025, +65%. Daily average $60.
And in 2026.
In January alone +13.33%, February +10.58%, March -16.56%.Average daily move is $170 — five times the 2024 level. On January 30, it moved $768 in one day.
With this price action, what is your EA doing?
Aren’t you firing the initial move with a squeeze and then quietly watching the subsequent trend?
XAU Squeeze Sniper FULL does not end with the initial move
The baseSqueeze modulefires the first shot from the volatility contraction.
Then, when two back-to-back daily closes outside the bands and band width expands,Trend module chases— up to 5 more shots, total of 6 positions.
What matters isthe chase only triggers when the trend has confirmed in the profit direction.
In 10 years 7 months, with 974 entries, the distribution of simultaneous positions was as follows.
| Simultaneous positions | Occurrence |
|---|---|
| 1 position | 51.7% |
| 2 positions | 26.2% |
| 3 positions | 14.0% |
| 4 positions | 5.5% |
| 5 positions | 2.1% |
| 6 positions (full stack) | 0.5% (5 times in 10 years 7 months) |
Usually operates with 1–2 positions quietly, only when a genuine trend comes, load up deeply.
It’s not “load a lot to gain advantage” but “load a lot only in good moments” — that is the pyramiding philosophy of this EA.
Attack mode with built-in defensive mode
Enable_Trend=falseturns off the chase entirely, leaving only the initial Squeeze movedefense mode.
| Mode | Net profit (10 years 7 months net) | PF | Max DD |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard (default) | +$4,168 | 1.58 | $574 (4.35%) |
| Defense mode (Enable_Trend=false) | +$832 | 1.33 | $366 (3.54%) |
※ A standalone “XAU Squeeze Sniper BASE” with the same defense mode configuration is also sold (defense-only, lower price).
When range-bound markets are judged to be prolonged, when you plan to withdraw, or when risk tolerance changes—
with one click you can fold back aggression and switch to defense.
Why this design? Back-tested data behind the scenes
1. Two-tier logic that abandons counter-trend
This EA does not engage in counter-trend trading.
During development, I implemented and tested a counter-trend module, butdata showed gold’s medium-to-long term performance is consistently inferior to trending strategies.
We adopted a two-tier approach: “initial move with Squeeze” and “overlays after trend confirmation with Trend.”
Even while pursuing gains, there is no structural add-on in the loss direction (no Martingale).
2. Balancing attack and defense — “the more aggressive the EA, the more critical is the brake”
| Safety features | Role |
|---|---|
| Hibernate filter (D1 ADX≥30) | Physically blocks false signals in low-volatility markets (tested to block nearly all such periods in 2025 summer). Threshold raised from 25 to 30 in V4 |
| Time-of-day filter | 15-hour rule that excludes time periods that consistently had low-quality signals in backtests. Even if extended to all 24 hours, profits do not increase; the 2016-2021 and 2022-2026 ranges show this 15-hour rule (net +$361) beats the full 24 hours (-$29) in testing (old configuration). |
| Total account usable equityIf the balance falls 5% below the starting balance for the day, new entries stop and the EA’s positions are closed by market order immediatelyDaily circuit breaker. The judgement reacts to overall account P/L (but closes only this EA’s positions). In 10 years of backtesting, it has not activated—acts as insurance in abnormal conditions. | |
| Dynamic spread filter | Automatically delays if spread widens to 3x normal or absolute >$2.00 |
| TP1 exit management (V4 new feature, default ON) | After entry, when price moves with the squeeze width, moves SL to entry price automatically.Stops full drawdown from profit fluctuations structurally. (With 0.01 lot, no partial exits—only price-level moves) |
Honeslty: the dynamic spread filter practically does not trigger in backtests (clean historical data rarely shows abnormal spreads).
This is a live-ops insurance to prevent disadvantageous executions right after data releases or rollovers. This feature does not guarantee profits.
3. Over 200 parameter combinations scanned by AI
Default values are not chosen by guesswork.
Squeeze BB grid search × SL/RR sweep × Trend BB grid × Trend SL/RR sweep × filtering effects analysis.
All 200+ combinations are scanned with automation, and the values optimized for the latest period (2022-2026) were applied unchanged to the full 10-year period (2016-2026) and did not break.Additionally, just before shipping, a one-item change impact test was performed for all major parameters to measure isolated effects.
V4.00 changes (August 2026)
Aimed at addressing weaknesses found during forward testing (April–August 2026 high-volatility range). Not new logic; this is a re-tuning based on actual results of existing features.Revised existing feature settings based on real-world results.
- Hibernate filter threshold increased from 25 to 30— reduces needless trades in high-volatility range. This single threshold improved across three validation periods (2016-2021; 2022-2026; recent range).
- TP1 exit management turned ON by default— structurally blocks full retracing losses from profits.
- Validation period extended to 2026.08.14— all values updated to latest measurements.
Honestly: during the same period (2016.01–2026.08) under the same environment, the old settings showed net +$4,149 / PF 1.44 / 1,237 trades. V4 kept net profit about the same at +$4,168, but reduced trades by 20% and improved PF from 1.44 to 1.58, and dramatically improved performance in the range phase (2026 Apr–Aug) from “-$64 / PF 0.95” to “+$240 / PF 1.35.” Note: this period comparison is a replay validation using the data used for setting choices and does not guarantee future improvements.

| Profit factor | 1.58 |
| Max drawdown | $574 (4.35% • balance basis) |
| Total trades | 974(avg ~92 per year) |

※ The absolute value of backtests may vary depending on internal data state of the device. In the development environment, with the same visible bar count, tick count, code, and settings (though internal data hashes may differ), a large shift in net profit was observed due to internal data state changes (about +52.6%). The values on this page are official numbers confirmed by multiple runs in a clean environment as of 2026-08-15. Relative comparisons and trends are stable, but absolute amounts depend on your environment.
Eight years of positive performance out of eleven. However, about 80% of profit occurred in 2025–2026 trend markets.
This is not a flaw to hide; it is the design philosophy—range years (2017–2019) minimize damage with the Hibernate Filter (worst year still -$156) and, when a trend comes, capture big gains.Earn big when a trend arrives.
Seeing gold’s “abnormal” in numbers—and why we view it as structural
| Period | Change | Daily average move |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 (full year) | +26.32% | $33 |
| 2025 (full year) | +65.33% | $60 |
| 2026 January | +13.33% | $155(max single-day $768) |
| 2026 February | +10.58% | $174 |
| 2026 March | -16.56% | $181 |
2024 a day move of $33. 2026, $170 per day.Five times volatility.
This EA is optimized for this high-volatility era.And we view this environment not as a temporary anomaly buta structural change. Public data on gold market seismic shifts support this.
Facts (public data)
- Central banks’ record gold purchases: Central banks bought gold for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024 (2022 was the highest since 1950 statistics with 1,136 tons), exceeding long-term averages (2010-2021: 473 tons per year) by more than double. In 2025, 863 tons, below 1,000 but still among the four highest years, maintaining about 1.8 times the long-term average. Central bank share of total gold demand rose from about 12% (2015-19) to about 25% in 2024 (World Gold Council).
- Upgrade from “tactics” to “structure”: De-dollarization, global debt expansion, geopolitical fragmentation, and tariff/sanctions uncertainty are lifting gold from temporary shelter to a permanent allocation (VanEck, Amundi, World Bank).
- Volatility expected to stay high in 2026: Major institutions expect gold volatility to remain elevated through 2026 (World Gold Council 2026 Outlook).
- Impact of algorithmic trading: Growth of high-frequency and algorithmic trading tends to amplify short-term price moves, as reported in peer-reviewed studies (though effects vary with market conditions).
Developers’ view (predictions, not guarantees)
These structural factors are likely to persist for a while, and we believe the high-volatility gold regime will continue or expand. Even if a recession or financial crisis occurs, gold as a safe asset tends to demand and volatility rise (World Bank: “gold is bought when uncertainty rises”).However this is only a forecast and not a guarantee. To prepare for changing market conditions, this EA includes a defense mode (
Enable_Trend=false) as standard.
| In volatile-ranged markets (2017–2019 type), the EA’s profits are smaller. The yearly results are shown above. Decide whether you want to rely on a prolonged high-volatility era based on this structural data. |
Q&A
Q. Isn’t pyramid trading dangerous?
A. The danger is in “average-down martingale” stacking. This EA’s chases trigger only in the direction of profit, and each position has its own ATR-based SL. In 10 years 7 months, the maximum DD was $574 (0.01 lot), and full-stack (6 positions) occurred only 5 times in that period. It is not designed to always hold six positions.
Q. Do you do martingale or averaging-down?
A.We do not do any averaging-down. The Trend module only adds positions when the trend has confirmed in the profit direction.
Q. Is 27.0% win rate too low?
A. With a risk-reward ratio of 5.0 (take profit five times the stop loss), the breakeven win rate is 16.7%, so 27.0% exceeds that, allowing profit even with 3 out of 4 losses and a 5x win when it wins. Additionally, V4’s TP1 entry management means roughly 6% of all trades (57 of 974) are exits near entry prices, offsetting some full-size losses. The observed maximum consecutive losses was 29; operate with appropriate capital (see later for lot sizing).
Q. How much drawdown should I expect?
A. The worst value in the last 10 years 7 months isAbsolute $574 (0.01 lot). DD% can look smaller as account grows due to ratio effects, so this EA is presented in absolute terms. With $3,000 capital that corresponds to 19.1% of account; with $5,000, about 11.5%. These are historical worsts and not guarantees for the future.
Q. Can I win every year?
A.No. Honestly.11 years, 3 years were slightly negative (worst -$156). The design is to survive in range years and capture large gains in trend years. Please review the year-by-year results before purchasing.
Q. Will it work on brokers with wide spreads?
A.Dynamic spread filter adjusts to account type, so it will operate. However, this page's results are from ECN-type accounts (fees included) in live conditions. In accounts with high trading costs, reproducibility decreases, soECN/STP with low spreads is recommended.
Q. Will it run on any broker?
A. It runs on MT5, and hedging accounts are required. On netting accounts, multiple positions management and partial exits may not function correctly, and it may stop at startup with an error(most MT5 accounts are hedging).
Q. How much margin do you recommend?
A.$3,000 or more per 0.01 lot. This accounts for margin and DD buffer for up to 6 positions.
Q. If I trade 0.02 lots or other amounts instead of 0.01 as recommended, do the filters or Guardian still apply?
- Profit and drawdown scale proportionally with lot size. With 0.02 lots, net profit and DD are about 2x of 0.01 lot (observed in V3; same proportionality in V4). No hidden nonlinear behavior.
- Dynamic spread filter operates independently of lot size.Since determination is by spread (price condition), lot size does not affect it.
- Daily Guardian does not trigger within recommended ranges.Even with the most risky 0.02 lot / $5,000, it never activated in 10 years (V3). Guardian acts as a safety margin when you push beyond recommendedLot.
- Note: Lot size is a dial that scales profits and risk in tandem. With $3,000 at 0.01, worst DD is $574; with $5,000 at 0.02, worst DD is about $1,148 (account share ~23% proportional). We strongly recommend not exceeding the recommended range.Recommended range should be followed closely.
Q. Fixed lot vs. risk% mode, which should I use?
A.For small to mid-sized accounts, fixed lot (default) is sufficient. All results on this page are from fixed lot tests.
- Fixed lot: Always the same lot size. Drawdown does not compound and stays within the observed 4.35% over 10 years 7 months. This is the stable baseline for predictable results and easy validation. Suitable for small, cautious, long-term use.
- Risk% mode: Lot size scales with account balance. More capital magnifies returns with similar DD. On a $100k account, fixed returns were about 12x higher with similar DD (return: fixed 3.1% → risk% 38.7% / 2024-2026, V3; V4 uses the same mechanism). Suitable for larger funds.
- Note: Risk% increases DD when raised (10-year test, V3: 0.5% → DD 8%, 1% → 16%, 2% → 31%). “Risk% = account DD” is not accurate.Recommended 0.5–1.0%. On smaller accounts (~$10k), the lot size is locked to the minimum 0.01, making behavior similar to fixed lot (differences show up mainly at larger accounts).
Q. What is defense mode?
A.Enable_Trend=falsestops chasing and leaves only the initial Squeeze move (up to 1 position) for defense. Ten-year seven-month net +$832 / PF 1.33 / max DD $366 (3.54%). Included as a standard option for range-extending periods or reducing risk. When switched, existing positions will be closed by SL/TP as usual. A standalone “XAU Squeeze Sniper BASE” is also sold with the same defense mode.
Q. Should I tweak parameters?
A. First, keep the default. All page results are with default values. Beyond that, this EA is designed to provide decision material, not to forbid adjustments. A paid option provides a data-backed collection of the measured impacts when adjusting major parameters one by one (parameter tuning guide). If you change any parameter, check the trade-off with data before adjusting.
Q. Can you tell me about the logic details?
A. The exact entry conditions, exit conditions, and filters are provided as a logic guide when you purchase. You can verify why you entered a trade on your own chart while operating.
What others pyramid-type EAs do, and how we avoided them
GogoJungle’s popular “aggressive gold EA” has common complaints in reviews.
For averaging-down pyramids: “full drawdown across the entire period,” “big gap between published PF and live forward,” “requires thousands of dollars to operate 0.01 lots.”
High-win-rate pyramid-type EAs demand “tens to hundreds of thousands” to start, continuous upgrade fees, and “lot size explodes with multiple positions”.
| Common complaints about pyramid EAs | XAU Squeeze Sniper FULL response |
|---|---|
| “Averaging down in loss direction → blow out” | Chasing only in profit direction(trend-following pyramid). In adverse times, each position is automatically cut by its own SL |
| “Holding several times the set lot, hard to control risk” | Limit clearly defined: Squeeze(1) + Trend(up to 5) = maximum 6 positions. The distribution of simultaneous positions is shown on this page. |
| “To avoid losses, you need tens to hundreds of thousands” | Past 10 years 7 months worst DD = $574 (0.01 lot) → designed for small-lot operation from $3,000 |
| “Public backtest vs live forward may diverge” | Net with fees & swaps + live data + slippage included to preemptively address divergence |
| “Upgrade fees continue” | |
| “Summer slump / range leads to drawdown” | Hibernate filter (D1 ADX≥30) skips low-volatility periods mechanically (removing this worsens performance markedly in testing) |
| “Logic is unclear, ON/OFF cannot be determined” | Full logic is disclosed + Enable_Trend=false defense mode lets you gate attack power any time |
“The more aggressive the EA, the more critical the brake is” — this EA combinespyramiding power with structural safety of exit timing

Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.
To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.
When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
