About EA's Strategy
Translating...
Notice (August 20, 2024)Currently, there is a significant drawdown occurring in the official GogoJungle forward of Reversal Seven. The current market conditions are the worst match for counter-trend EAs, and it cannot win with the default sensitivity setting of 1. By adjusting the sensitivity settings added in Ver1.02, profits can be targeted in various market conditions. In the real account of FXTF, the performance is the exact opposite of the official GogoJungle forward.
REAL TRADEhttps://real-trade.tech/accounts/74559?via=users_realtradeThis EA "Reversal Seven" can target profits not only in range markets but also in trending markets.
When the market moves significantly as it is now, increasing the sensitivity allows for timing to match rapid price movements. Therefore, in high volatility markets, set the sensitivity to MAX 25, and during calmer price movement periods, lowering the sensitivity stabilizes performance.
I hope this serves as a reference for your settings.
EA Features Uses seven counter-trend methods and can hold up to 3 positions Multi-logic EA compatible with the USDJPY 5-minute chart
【Background of EA Development】
In the high volatility market since 2020, many counter-trend EAs have updated their maximum drawdowns. Is it possible to continue winning steadily with counter-trend methods?
My answer to this question is to interchange multiple counter-trend logics according to the current market environment.
In other words, an EA that does not match the market environment is useless and will only lose.
This EA uses seven different logics and allows for changing the importance of the logics according to the current market environment.
Since you are spending a significant amount of money to purchase an EA, I want you to use it for as long as possible.
If it is a single logic EA, it becomes useless once the logic itself loses its advantage.
With an EA like Reversal Seven that is equipped with multiple logics, it is possible to aim for stable profits in various markets without waiting for version upgrades.
The difference from similar products like Seven Elements is whether it is primarily trend-following or counter-trend.
While Seven Elements is a trend-following main EA, Reversal Seven is specialized for counter-trend.
Short entry when the total score is below -30
Long entry when the total score is above 30
【EA Description】
Reversal Seven is an MT4 dedicated EA automated trading system compatible with the USDJPY 5-minute chart.
The biggest feature of this EA is that it is equipped with seven counter-trend logics, allowing for flexible trading that can adapt to various markets by specifying the importance for each method.
The logics included are as follows.
All are counter-trend methods.
Included Logics
No.1.RangeRange// Entry from server time 7:00 to 17:59
No.2.PriceActionInsideBar// Entry anytime 24 hours regardless of server time
No.3.IchimokuSignalTrade// Entry from server time 18:00 to the next 5:59
No.4.BollingerBand// Entry from server time 22:00 to the next 0:59
No.5.PriceActionTrading// Entry from server time 18:00 to the next 1:59
No.6.MorningReversal// Entry from server time 22:00 to the next 2:59
No.7.TokyoTrend// Entry from 7:00 to 17:59 Japan time
Since 2020, a trend market with high volatility has continued.
As a method, it will be a market favorable for trend-following, so high performance is not expected from counter-trend EAs.
In the future, if the market stabilizes and becomes a range market, I believe counter-trend EAs will function well.
The biggest feature of this EA is that it allows for trading that matches the current market by specifying the importance for each method.
In other words, without waiting for version upgrades from the EA developer, you can freely customize the EA to match the current market just by changing the importance of the EA.
This means that by increasing the importance of the EA that is prioritized according to the current market environment, you can easily run the EA with original settings.
As a similar EA, there is a multi-logic EA that allows each logic to hold positions.
In this case, each logic will take long and short positions separately, making it prone to hedging and requiring unnecessary margin.
Reversal Seven quantifies whether each logic is long or short dominant, and is designed to hold long positions in the positive evaluation range and short positions in the negative evaluation range.
It can hold a maximum of 3 positions.
Depending on the timing of trend reversals, it may lead to hedging.
Users can perform trades that match the current market environment by inputting the importance for each of the seven logics.

Operating Environment
・Operates on MT4's 5-minute chart.
・Works with all currency pairs.
【Trading Time Zone】
The time zones in which the EA operates vary, but trading is conducted in GMT+2 (Winter)/+3 (Summer).
Therefore, it only supports brokers in GMT+2 (Winter)/+3 (Summer).
【Introduction of 7 Logics】
No.1.RangeRange(Range Range)
Operates from server time 7:00 to 17:59.
Finds optimal entry points for buying and selling based on multi-timeframe analysis and the range of highs and lows.
While other logics operate from late night to early morning Japan time, this logic operates from early afternoon to midnight Japan time.
It operates from a little before the European participants start until just before London closes.
Please change the importance according to your preference.
No.2.PriceActionInsideBar(Price Action Inside Bar)
Operates anytime 24 hours.
Price action trading based on inside bars.
Logic for buying on dips and selling on rebounds in range markets.
Increasing the importance of this logic will significantly increase the number of trades.
However, since unnecessary trades may increase, please keep the importance at the minimum of 1.
No.3.IchimokuSignalTrade(Ichimoku Signal Trade)
Operates from server time 18:00 to the next 5:59.
Makes trading decisions based on the Ichimoku Kinko Hyo's turning line, base line, and candlesticks.
Counter-trend short when the turning line crosses above the base line (golden cross achieved),
Counter-trend long when the turning line crosses below the base line (dead cross achieved).
Please change the importance according to your preference.
No.4.BollingerBand(Bollinger Band)
Operates from server time 22:00 to the next 0:59.
Operates early morning Japan time.
Detects reversals based on Bollinger Bands ±2σ and candlesticks for trading.
Since it has poor compatibility with other logics, please set the importance to the minimum of 1.
No.5.PriceActionTrading(Price Action Trading)
Operates from server time 18:00 to the next 1:59.
Operates from late night to early morning Japan time.
A scalping logic that trades based on price action in response to sudden market fluctuations.
Please change the importance according to your preference.
No.6.MorningReversal(Morning Reversal)
Operates from server time 22:00 to the next 2:59.
An EA that operates in the morning, a morning scalping type.
Please change the importance according to your preference.
No.7.TokyoTrend(Tokyo Trend)
Operates from 7:00 to 17:59 Japan time.
While the trading frequency is low, it contributes to stable trading.
Depending on the combination with other logics, performance may improve.
The above EA is the EA included in version 1.02.
In future version upgrades, there may be cases where EAs with decreased performance are eliminated and other EAs are incorporated.

【Margin Guidelines】
For a margin of 100,000 yen, the lot size is 10,000 in one position mode.
For a margin of 300,000 yen, in averaging mode, it is recommended to fix the lot size at 0.1 for Lots 1, 2, and 3 at 100,000 currency.
For a margin of 900,000 yen, the default setting is Lots 1, 2, and 3 at 100,000 currency in averaging mode.
If the lot size is set to the minimum of 0.01 Lot (1,000 currency), the recommended margin will be one-tenth of the above amounts.
Due to the nature of the EA, orders for medium sign (Lots 2) and strong sign (Lots 3) will be placed frequently.
In this case, since the lot sizes of Lots 2 and Lots 3 will be ordered consecutively, please calculate the margin based on the highest lot size × 3 times.
Even in single position mode, the profit factor does not change much, so if you are running multiple EAs in the same account, one position mode is also recommended for easier lot calculation.

【Version Upgrade History】Latest Version 1.02
1. Reviewed the upper limit setting for the number of entries per day.
Added the following item to the properties:
MaxError = 100;// Upper limit for continuous entry count (range 30-200)
This is a protection program in case orders are not executed due to insufficient margin or server errors, leading to an infinite loop of orders.
It was previously fixed, but has been modified to allow for free setting of the count.
The reset timing for the count in the program is at server time 4:00 (Japan time 10:00-11:00), 11:00 (Japan time 17:00-18:00), and 18:00 (Japan time 24:00-1:00).
If the limit is reached by manually closing positions, restarting MT4 will reset the count to zero.
2. Added a setting to not place orders when spreads widen.
Enter the allowable spread, the difference between Bid and Ask values, e.g., 505pips
Default MaxSpread = 50
3. Made it possible to choose between discretionary mode and automatic trading mode.
Added the following item to the properties:
ManualMode = false; // True for discretionary mode, false for enabling automatic trading
Previously, even if manual closing was done, as long as signals were still being generated, positions were taken again in the same direction.
A setting has been added to not place new orders without stopping the EA.
By setting ManualMode to true, it will enter discretionary mode, and new and closing orders will not be placed.
4. Switchable between averaging mode and one position mode.
The default setting is set to averaging twice.
It can hold a maximum of three positions.
To switch to one position mode, set Nanpin = false.
Below are the modifications for Ver1.02:
5. Added sensitivity setting function
In the default setting, it holds long positions when the Total Score is above 30 and short positions when below -30.
The sensitivity number can be increased from the default of 1 to a maximum of 25.
Increasing the number will increase the number of trades.
6. Logic adjustments
Adjusted the internal logic of Logic No5.PriceActionTrading.
Fixed a bug where Logic No6.MorningReversal was not functioning.
The coupon will expire in 2 days.

Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.
To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.
When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
