■■■[Introduction]■■

K_Jade_GBPJPY is for the 5 minute Pound Sterling JPY only,
The EA has a narrow stop range and belongs to the swing type. When developing EAs, developers may have different views on what is important and what is not important. Many developers place importance on increasing the win rate. I believe that a high win rate is an excellent EA. However, in my case, I do not consider [win rate] important at all. Because I understand that [win rate] is just a part of the specification, and it does not determine the superiority of an EA. What is important is " to maximize profits as much as possible while keeping drawdowns as small as possible. This EA is designed to boldly attack with a maximum of four positions under the policy of small loss and large gain for the above-mentioned purpose.

■■ [EA Features]■■ - E A dedicated to 5-minute GBPJPY - Simple logic based on Dow Theory - Narrow stop despite high volatility of GBPJPY - Maximum of 4 positions held- Simple parameter settingsTo briefly explain these features, - 5-minute GBPJPYK-Jade_GBPJPY is an EA exclusively for 5-minute GBPJPY. It is not designed to operate with other currency pairs or time frames.Simple logic based on Dow Theory

The logic of this EA has a simple structure. Check the relationship between the recent high and low, and if both are rising, take a buy position and wait for a small push before entering long. If both are falling, the basic tactic is to sell, and wait for a small pullback before entering the market short. Then, at the same time as entry, a limit and stop are set, and the position is closed when either of them is reached. There is no closing based on the internal logic. Depending on the market conditions, there may be a case where the position is do-ten, but it is an easy-to-understand tactic to wait until either the limit or the stop is reached.

Narrow stop despite high volatility of GBPJPY

Some general EAs for GBPJPY have a stop width of 100 PIPS or more, and some have as far as 300 PIPS, but this EA has a maximum stop width of 80 PIPS. GBPJPY is famous for its high volatility, and it is a common belief that if the stop width is too narrow, you will be caught up in the turbulence unique to GBPJPY, and your profits will not increase because of the immediate stop. However, this EA has a very narrow initial value of 80 PIPS. The reason why the initial value is so narrow is because the EA's policy is to accept the fact that the stop will be applied as a matter of course, and to make profit in other positions to compensate for it.

Maximum of 4 potions held

The maximum number of positions held is 4, but these are not for "no-pin" trading, but rather for timely entry when the conditions are met. The number of positions can be changed from the parameters, so you can set the number of positions to one in consideration of compatibility with other EAs. If you do not want to have too many positions or want to keep drawdowns as low as possible, you can reduce the number of positions.

The EA has as few parameters as possible so that even beginners can use it with ease .

The minimum required items such as "magic number" and "lot number" are all that is needed to use the system.

■■■バックテスト■■■

This EA has been back-tested for the past 16 years, and naturally has zero inconsistent chart errors. Of particular importance are the following itemsred lineLet's check them. First, the [Spread] is set to [30]. Most people set a narrow value here, such as [5] or [10], to make the backtest results look better. However, in the case of this EA, the superiority of the logic that does not depend on the [spread] makes it possible to realize steadily rising profits even if the value is set this wide.

Second, [net profit] is over $50000, more than five times the initial margin over 16 years. The key here is that the lot size is 0.1 simple interest. Frankly speaking, the larger the lot size, the larger the [net profit ]. Some EAs may exaggerate that [net profit] became larger than necessary by increasing the number of lots to 1.0, but... this EA has increased more than 5 times in 16 years with 0.1 lots of simple interest operation. Next is [maximum drawdown]. Although different developers may have different views on this item, if I were developing a non-nanpin EA, I would try to keep the maximum drawdown to less than $2,000 for a margin of $10,000. Especially in the case of GBP/JPY, the maximum drawdown tends to be large due to the large volatility, but even so, I have succeeded in keeping it under $2000, or about 10%. Next, the total number of trades is 3025 over 16 years, which means that the average number of entries per month is about 16. However, this is only an average, and the entry frequency will decrease when the market volatility becomes smaller. Next, the win rate is 44.56%, but since the price range of winning trades is about twice as large as that of losing trades, it can be understood that the EA is trading with a small profit and a large loss. In many cases, the win rate of EAs I develop is generally in the 40% to 60% range, and this EA follows the same pattern. Finally, please take a look at the profit graph. Since this EA is not a pick-and-pin type, the graph is not a straight line as if a ruler was used to draw a neat line. While accepting moderate drawdowns, the graph shows a steady rise while drawing small waves.

For reference, a back test with only one position is also included.

The [ net profit] and [total number of trades] are reduced by about half compared to the four positions, but the [maximum drawdown] is also reduced by about 40%, so if you want to manage passively, only one position is also a good option.

■■REAL TRADE ■■ This EA has already been operated by me personally in real trade before starting to sell in Gogojan. The following are the results of this EA before starting sales in Gogojan.

We decided to sell this EA at GogoJan because of its good performance of 53 wins and 59 losses,PF=1.46, and a total of 1850 PIPS gained after 112 trades in total. Winning percentage, winning margin, losing margin, and PF are similar between backtest and real trade, so we can say that this EA is highly reproducible.

■■■Parameters■■■■■■

[MAGIC] =20182704(Default value) Set a value different from other EAs. [ Lots] =0.1 (initial value) The number of lots for entry. [ Slippage] =2(Default) Maximum slippage. If it slips more than this, no entry will be made. [ Max_spread] =4.0 (default) Maximum spread. No entry will be made if the spread exceeds this level. [ Max_STP] =80(default) Maximum stop width (PIPS) [Max_Pos] =4(default) Maximum number of positions that can be held simultaneously. Supplementary Explanation: Basically, these parameters do not need to be changed, but [ MAGIC] and [Lots] should be changed according to your own situation. If you want to reduce risk, reduce [Max_Pos] to 1 or 2. Or you can leave [Max_Pos] at 4 and reduce [Lots].

■■■ Entry Status■■■■ Entry Status
Entry and settlement are made as follows. The white vertical dotted line in the chart represents the end of the day in server time.

This is a case of a long entry during an uptrend, but you can see that the entry was made after waiting for a short-term push. The first position was closed after one and a half days, and the second position was closed on the same day.

This is a sporadic 3-position trade in a downtrend, with each position reaching its limit and closing. In most cases, the holding period of the positions is approximately 2-3 days, with short positions closing on the same day, and long positions taking up to 5 days.

This is a short position that was initially shorted, but was then do-tenned and switched to a long position. The position is closed when the limit is reached, when the stop is reached, or when the position is closed.

■■ Frequently Asked Questions ■ ■ Q1: Can I operate with any broker? A1:You can use any FX company as long as they use GMT+2 (GMT+3 in summer time) MT4. Q2:Is there a weekend position carry-over? A2: There is no weekend settlement function, so positions taken at the close of the day may be carried over to the following week. Q3: Is it necessary to set summer or winter time? A3: No, it is not necessary. Q4: Can one MT4 be used to run other EAs at the same time? A4: It is possible to operate simultaneously. However, if both this EA and another EA have unrealized losses while the margin is low, there is a possibility that they will be forced to close below the guarantee maintenance ratio. Also, please set the magic number different from other EAs. Q5: How many positions will be held? A5: There is a possibility to hold up to four positions. However, the number of positions can be changed by setting parameters, so if you want to reduce risk, reduce the number of positions to one or two. Conversely, you can increase the number of positions, but we do not recommend it. Q6:What are the profit and loss limits? A6:The gain and loss limits vary depending on the volatility of the market at the time, but the average gain is about 110 PIPS and the average loss is about 60 PIPS. The higher the volatility, the larger the profit and loss margin, but the maximum stop-loss margin is limited to 80 PIPS. Q7:Can I close positions manually? A7: Yes, but please close all open positions at once if you wish to do so manually. Q8: Do you trade both sides of a trade? A8: No, we do not. Doten (do-ten) is allowed. Q9: How often do you make entries? A9: According to back tests and real trades, we calculate that we enter about 16 times per month. However, this EA measures market volatility and does not enter when volatility is low. As a rule of thumb, when the daily price range is less than 90 PIPS, the EA will not enter the market.Entry frequency will tend to decrease.

About Forex Automated Trading
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.

To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.

[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.

・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.

[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.

・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.

・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.

[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.

・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.

Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.

Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.

The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).

Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.

If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
EAs from GogoJungle can be used with one real account and one demo account per EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.

To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.

When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
If you encounter an error with Web authentication, or if the EA is trading on GogoJungle's forward performance page but not on your own account, there could be various reasons. For more details, please refer to the following link:
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:

1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units

For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Profit Factor: Total Profit ÷ Total Loss
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
