One Coin EA
USDJPY
1 . Overview
This EA is designed to ensure the capture of One Coin (500 yen) of profit margin.
This EA is dedicated to the basics of the "Royal Road of Trading," namely, trend-following push-buy (or return-sell if selling).
The minimum lot size is 0.01 lots and the maximum number of positions held is 10. The maximum lot held is 0.1 lot.
The basic action is to take multiple positions and increase the number of positions by pyramiding, but in the event of a reversal, the market is also used for "pinning".
2 . Characteristics
With few drawdowns, PF=2.21, and a win rate of over 80%, this EA is capable of reliably increasing assets even from small funds.
In rare cases, SL settings may cause temporary losses, but this is a safety measure to prevent further losses.
It is profitable in the long run because it builds up profit in one-coin increments.
If you are a trader for whom one coin is not enough, please increase the number of lots within your financial capacity. If you double the lot size, your assets will increase by 1,000 units, and if you double the lot size by 10 times, your assets will increase by 5,000 units.
3 . Transaction Image
At the push point during an uptrend, buy entry with the smallest lot. When the profit reaches 500 yen, the profit is taken. In the above example, the uptrend is still growing, so if you had held the buy position without taking profits, profits would have reached 1,000 yen, but as the market saying goes
You can have the head and the tail."
"A Thousand Minds at a Glance."
Since the EA is an EA that practices a "one-coin gain," it is good for a one-coin gain.
If the long-term EMA is rising, we will go ahead and open a buy position even if the short-term EMA is falling. We will implement trend-following push-buying, and at the point where the candlestick extends upward, we will buy more positions. When the total profit of multiple positions reaches 500 yen, we will close the position.
Pyramiding is performed by candle price action. The figure below is an example of selling.
If the long-term EMA is flat and the short-term EMA is below the long-term EMA, we will go ahead and open a sell position. We will open multiple sell positions and take profit when the total profit reaches 500 yen.
Note that we do not open both positions. Only positions that can be either sold or bought will be opened.
In the case of a long-term uptrend, repeat the buy entry many times at the push point. When the profit reaches 500 yen, take profit.
The trade status is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. When a position is taken, a gold dotted horizontal line (profit line) is drawn at the position where the profit is expected to be taken. A red-orange dotted horizontal line (position average line) will be drawn at the average position value of multiple positions.
The first line on the upper left is the buy position information, the second line is the sell position information, and the third line displays the total profit, maximum drawdown, and number of pyramidings.
In the figure above, you have multiple buy positions (1), (2), and (3). After this, when the rate reaches the profit line, all the buy positions will be closed.
4 . Logic.
In a trend, open a position in the direction of the trend. In the absence of a trend, a buy position is taken when the short-term EMA is above the long-term EMA, and a sell position is taken when it is below the long-term EMA. When the price action of the candlestick is favorable, the position is added to, and when profit is gained, the position is closed.
Losses are set internally to be quite large. The setting values are set separately for the sell side and the buy side. For example, on the sell side, the stop loss is triggered at a loss of 6,000 yen per position. In addition, at a stage when the number of positions is small, only if a trend change occurs, all the positions held will be closed out. At this time, the loss is naturally incurred, but by escaping with an early stop-loss, we prevent the loss from spreading. Various other innovations have been incorporated. These cannot be changed by the user.
The logic is simple and the EA is based on trend-following, so it provides stable results over the long term.

The currency pair is limited to USDJPY and the EA will be placed on the hourly chart. Different currency pairs or different timeframes will result in an error.
6 . Back Testing
The figure above shows the 10-year back-test results from January2012 to August2022.
In addition to having almost no drawdowns, the graph shows a beautiful steady rise.
Initial margin   1,000,000
Profit Factor 2.21
Net income 197,776.90
Maximum drawdown 53,552.11 ( 4.68%)
Winning rate 81.27% (%)
Lot 0. 01(fixed)
Risk-Return Ratio &. nbsp; 3.69
Recommended Margin   ; 164,704
GogoJungle Calculation Formula (10,000 currency units x Japanese Yen rate of the currency traded ÷ 25 x average number of lots ÷ 0.1 x maximum number of positions + maximum loss (including unrealized loss) x 2)
1$=\144 Assuming that
10,000 x 144 ÷ 25 x 0.01 ÷ 0.1 x 10 + 53,552 x 2 =164,704
GogoJungle The recommended margin is 160,000 yen, so if the initial lot size is 0.01 and the maximum number of positions is 10, the required capital is about 200,000 yen.
If your funds are 400,000 yen, you can start with a lot size of 0.02.
If your funds are 1 million yen, you can start with a lot size of 0.05.
reference
*Operation when the maximum number of positions is reduced
The graph shows the maximum number of positions changed from 1 to 20 in a 10-year backtest.
Therefore, for those with less funds, the maximum number of positions =5 for those with a small amount of funds.
We actually compared the case with a maximum number of positions of 5 to the case with a maximum number of positions of 10 in a back test for the most recent past year.
This graph shows the maximum number of positions = 5.
(The period is fromSeptember1,2021toAugust31, 2022.)
The next graph shows the maximum number of positions = 10.
Almost, you can't even tell the difference. The profit amount is also almost the same.
When operating with an initial lot size of 0.01 and a maximum position size of 5, the amount of funds required is half of that for a maximum position size of 10, so you can start with 83,000 yen as the recommended margin.
in this case
Profit Factor 2.86
Net income 26,957.59
Maximum drawdown 13,279.02 (14.66%)
winning percentage 81.63% of the time
Lot &. nbsp;   ; 0.01(fixed)
Risk-Return Ratio &. nbsp; 2.03
Recommended Margin   ; 83,000
The maximum is 14.66%, although the percentage of drawdown is somewhat larger. The result is that the initial margin of 83,000 increases to 109,957 in one year.
(These are only the results of back-testing, so they may not necessarily be exactly as shown.)

Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.
To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.
When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
