■■■[EA Summary]■■
K-Epic_GBPUSD will be an EA dedicated to the 15-minute time frame of the pound dollar.
There is a market saying.
The first push is a buy, the first pullback is a sell.
There is a saying in the market, "The first push is a buy, the first pullback is a sell.
This means.
Buy at the first push in an uptrend.
Sell on the first return in a downtrend.
This means "buy at the first push in an uptrend" and "sell at the first return in a downtrend.
This EA is the embodiment of the above.
The main indicator used is Bollinger Bands.
The sigma position of the band is used to determine the position of a push or a return.
Also, I don't aim for a large profit in the settlement.
I try not to make a large profit, but to take profits at the limit price according to the volatility of the market.
■■ [EA Features]■■
EA for 15-minute GBPUSD
EA for day trading type trend-following EA
Maximum number of positions is 2.
Steadily rising profit curve in the past 14 years of back-testing.
Easy parameter setting
These features are briefly explained as follows.
EA for 15-minute GBPUSD
K-Epic_GBPUSD is an EA exclusively for the 15-minute leg of the GBPUSD.
It is not designed to operate with any other currency pairs or time frames.
EA for day-trade type trend-following EA
After a trend occurs at the 15-minute level
The objective is to capture the first push and return after a trend occurs at the 15-minute level, so it belongs to a trend-following EA.
Therefore, it belongs to the trend-following type EA.
Positions are generally held for 24 hours or less.
In most cases, positions are closed on the same day.
In most cases, positions are closed within the day, but there are also cases where positions are held until the next day.
The maximum number of positions is two.
In some cases, we may hold a maximum of two positions at the same time.
However, the frequency is not so frequent.
Basically, only one position is held in most cases.
After holding one position, when the rate goes sideways and the price matches the entry timing again, the second position is taken.
When the rate goes sideways again and matches the entry timing, a second position is taken.
The earnings curve has been steadily increasing over the past 14 years of back-testing.
The longer the back-testing period, the more reliable it becomes.
The backtest of this EA was conducted for the past 14 years.
The backtests have been conducted for the past 14 years, and have shown a steady increase.
The backtesting period of the past 14 years means that
Lehman Shock in 2008
The Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011
Even the Corona Shock in 2020.
The past 14 years means that we have continued to make profits without any major drawdowns.
Easy parameter setting
This EA has as few parameters as possible so that even beginners can use it safely.
This EA has as few parameter items as possible so that even beginners can use it with ease.
In other words, unnecessary parameters are made into internal variables, so there is no need for optimization work such as parameter adjustment.
Therefore, there is no need for optimization work such as parameter adjustment.
The minimum required items such as "magic number" and "number of lots" are all that is required to use this function.
and "number of lots" are all that is required.
■■■ Back Testing ■■■■■
We have backtested this EA for the past 14 years and 10 months.
Naturally, the modeling quality is 90.00% and inconsistent chart errors are 0.
I have drawn red lines for items of particular importance.
Let's check them.
First, the [Spread] is set to [30].
Not many people are taking this wide spread for the pound dollar.
Most of you will probably use [5] or [10] or something like that to make your backtests look better.
Most people set a narrower value here, such as [5] or [10], to make their backtest results look better.
However, in the case of this EA, there is a logic advantage that does not depend on [spread].
Even if the spread is this wide, it is possible to achieve a steady increase in profit.
The [net profit] is about 1.95 times the [initial margin].
The important thing here is the number of lots.
In extreme cases, if the lot size is recklessly large, the [net profit] will be reduced to about 1.95 times the [initial margin].
[However, the lot number in this back test is 0.95 times the initial evidence.
In this back test, the lot size is fixed at 0.1.
In other words, the number of lots is sufficiently small.
[However, in this back test, the lot size is fixed at 0.1, which means that the net profit is 1.95 times the initial margin.
Also, since [total number of trades] is 3658 times in 14 years and 10 months
In a month, you have entered the market about 20 times on average.
And [maximum drawdown] is the most important item.
The stability of the EA can be estimated to some extent by how much this item is kept under control.
The stability of the EA can be estimated to some extent by how much the value of this item is kept down.
Although each developer may have a different opinion on this item, I would like to point out the following.
However, if I were to develop a non-numping EA, I would set
I would keep it to less than 250,000 yen or 25% of 1 million yen margin.
Of course, this number would have to be small.
In this EA, we have been able to achieve a low number of 3.36%.
Next, we check the risk-return ratio.
[Net profit] / [Maximum drawdown] = 19526.47 / 959.33 = 20.35!
I know it's a historical chart, but...
You can expect a return of more than 20 times the risk you accept.
Finally, please see the earnings graph.
Since this EA is not a nan-pinning system
It is not a straight line graph as if a ruler was placed on it and a line was drawn neatly.
It is not a straight line graph.
While accepting moderate drawdowns
The graph is a steady rise while accepting moderate drawdowns and drawing small waves.
Before this EA was launched for sale on GogoJan.
I have already personally operated this EA in real trading.
The following is the result of this EA before starting to sell in Gogojan.
It has already been more than a year since we started operating
During that time, we have accumulated a track record of93 wins and 100 losses, 48% win rate, total 738.0 PIPS gained During that time, we have accumulated a track record of
It is important to note here that
"Is there a difference between back testing and real trading?"
The key question here is "Is there a difference between backtesting and real trading?
In many cases, EAs on the street perform well in back testing, but in real trading, the performance drops.
In this EA, there is almost no difference in performance between back testing and real trading.
There is almost no difference between the backtest and real trade results in terms of win rate, winning margin, losing margin, PF, etc.
The back-test and real trade results are similar.
It can be said that this EA is highly reproducible.
■■■Parameters■■■■■■
[MAGIC]=20192805(default)
Set a different value from other EAs.
[Lots]=0.1 (initial value)
The number of lots for entry.
[Slippage]=2 (default)
Maximum slippage. If it slips more than this, no entry is made.
[Max_spread]=4.0 (default)
Maximum spread. If it opens more than this, no entry is made.
[Max_Pos]=2 (initial value)
Maximum number of positions to be held at the same time.
*Supplemental Explanation
No matter how many times a position is entered, the number of lots specified in [Lots] will be used.
Single profit entry.
[Max_Pos] is limited to a maximum of 2.
You can set it as low as 1, but the profit will be less.
but the profit will be less.
Basically, these parameters do not need to be changed.
However, [Lots] and other parameters should be changed according to each individual's situation.
Appropriate number of lots
As far as back tests and real trades are concerned
0.1 lot per 200,000 yen of margin is acceptable, but if you want to manage your money with a margin of 200,000 yen, you can use 0.1 lot per 200,000 yen of margin.
However, if you want to manage your money with a margin, you should use 0.1 lot per 300,000 yen margin.
However, if you want to manage your money with a margin of 300,000 yen, 0.1 lot per 300,000 yen is the basic rule.
■■■ Entry Status■■■■ Entry Status
Entry and settlement will be made as follows
The blue line is entry and settlement on the long side, and
The red line is the short entry and settlement.
The vertical white line is the New York close, and the time in between is one day.
In most cases, positions are closed on the same day or the next day.
In most cases, a position is closed on the day it is entered or closed the next day.
In rare cases, a position may be held for more than 3 days.
The stop width varies depending on the volatility of the market, but is set to a maximum of 74 PIPS.
The maximum stop width is set to 74 PIPS.
The timing for closing a position is
When to close a position when it reaches the limit gain, or when it reaches the stop, or
or when closing a previous position in the event of a turnaround.
Q1:Can I operate with any broker?
A1:You can operate with any forex broker as long as it uses GMT+2 (GMT+3 in summer time) MT4.
A1: If your MT4 is GMT+2 (GMT+3 in summer time), you can use it with any FX company.
Q2:Is there a weekend position carry-over?
A2: There is no weekend settlement function, so if you take a position at the close of the day, it may be carried over to the following week.
Q3: Is it necessary to set summer or winter time?
A3: No, it is not necessary.
Q4: Can one MT4 be used to run other EAs at the same time?
A4: It is possible to operate simultaneously.
However, if both this EA and the other EA have unrealized losses while the margin is low
There is a possibility that they will fall below the margin maintenance ratio and be forced to close.
Also, please set the magic number different from other EAs.
Q5: Can I close positions manually?
A5: Yes, you can. However, if you have multiple positions and close only some of them
However, if you have multiple positions and close only some of them, there is an undeniable possibility that they may not move properly afterwards.
When closing manually, please close all positions at once.
Q6: Do you trade both positions?
A6: No, we do not.
When you have a position in the opposite direction, you must
After closing all currently held positions together
When you open a reverse position, you must close all your current positions together and then open a reverse position.
Q7:How often do you enter the market?
A7: According to our back-tests and real trades
We enter about 15 to 20 times in a month.
However, since this EA is a trend-following system
It does not enter during slow and low volatility markets.
Roughly speaking, if the price range over a 3-day period is less than 120 PIPS
We consider it to be low volatility, and as long as it remains that way
We do not enter the market for any number of weeks.

About Forex Automated Trading
What is Forex Automated Trading (MT4 EA)?
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
Trading Types of Forex Automated Trading
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

Risks, Advantages, and Disadvantages of Forex Automated Trading
When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.

Equipment and Environment Needed for Automated Trading Operation
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.

Installation of MT4 and Account Login
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.

How to Install EA on MT4
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.

About the Size of Trading Lots
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
