■■■[EA Summary]■■ K-Cody_GBPJPY_M15 will be an EA exclusively for 15-minute Pound Yen trades. Generally, the logic to enter in the early morning of Japan time and escape with a small profit is called "Morning Scalp". The logic to enter in the early morning of Japan time and escape with a small profit is called "Morning Scalp". This EA is a logic to enter the market early in the morning of Japan time and to extend the profit as much as possible. This EA is a logic to enter early in the morning of Japan time and extend profits as much as possible, and can be called "morning swing". This EA has a built-in logic that can be called "morning swing" so to speak. The execution time frame is the 15-minute time frame. The execution timeframe is 15 minutes, but the objective is to ride the trend on the hourly level. This is a swing-type EA that holds for a few days. It uses only two main indicators, moving averages and RSI. From the programming stage, we have tried to keep the structure as simple as possible to avoid over-optimization. We have tried to keep the structure as simple as possible to avoid over-optimization from the programming stage. The simplicity of the structure makes it highly reproducible. The simple configuration makes it highly reproducible and increases the likelihood that the results will be similar to past charts. ■■ [EA Features]■■ EA dedicated to 15-minute GBPJPY Swing-type trend-following EA Maximum number of positions: 3 Steady upward earnings curve over the past 13 years of back-testing. Easy parameter setting A brief description of these features is as follows EA dedicated to 15-minute GBPJPY K-Cody_GBPJPY_M15 is an EA dedicated to the 15-minute GBPJPY. It is not designed to operate with other currency pairs or time frames. Swing-type trend-following EA The holding period of a position is generally from 1 to 5 days, so it It belongs to the swing type EA. It is a swing type EA that follows the major flow of the market. and aim to gain as much profit as possible. The indicators used are mainly moving averages and RSI. The moving average line is used to confirm the trend, and the RSI is used to measure the entry timing for a push or return. I use the moving average to confirm the trend and the RSI to measure the entry timing of the push or return. Maximum number of positions: 3 There are cases where a maximum of three positions are held at the same time, but This is not intended to be a "pick-and-pin" strategy. This is not intended to be a "pick-and-pin" strategy, but rather an independent positioning based on the confirmation that the timing of entry coincides with that of the trade. This is independent positioning. In addition, the number of lots in each position is always the same, and The number of lots for each position is always the same, and it is not like a martingale where the more positions you add, the larger the number of lots. The number of lots is not increased as the number of positions is increased, as in the case of a martingale. And sometimes, we will also open both lots. In other words, if you have three positions 3 long positions, 1 short position, 2 long positions, 1 short position 2 long positions, 1 short position 1 long position, 2 short positions 3 short positions In other words, if you have three positions, you can have three long positions, one long position, two short positions, and one short position. Steady upward earnings curve over the past 13 years of back-testing. The longer the back-testing period, the more reliable it becomes. However, with the advent of AI (artificial intelligence), etc. AI (Artificial Intelligence), however, the most recent results are becoming more and more important. The backtest of this EA was conducted for the past 13 years. During that time, we have been able to achieve a steady increase in the number of trades. The recent years, when AI has emerged, have also shown a steady increase in performance. Also, for the past 13 years, which means that during the Lehman Shock in 2008 The Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 Corona Shock in 2020. The past 13 years also means that we have continued to make profits without any major drawdowns. Easy parameter setting This EA is designed for beginners to use with ease. This EA has as few parameter items as possible so that beginners can use it with ease. In other words, unnecessary parameters are made into internal variables, so there is no need for optimization work such as parameter adjustment. Therefore, there is no need for optimization work such as parameter adjustment. The minimum required items such as "magic number" and "number of lots" are all that is needed. and "number of lots," which are the minimum required parameters. cody_gbpjpy01.png We have backtested this EA for the last 13 years. Naturally, the modeling quality is 90.00% and inconsistent chart errors are 0. Of particular importance are the following itemsred lineI'm pulling the Let's check those. First of all, [Spread] is [30]. Not many people are taking this wide spread on the pound sterling. Most of you will probably use [5], [10], etc. here to make your backtest results look better. Most people set a narrower value here, such as [5] or [10], to make their backtest results look better. However, in the case of this EA, there is a logic advantage that does not depend on [spread]. Even if the spread is this wide, it is possible to achieve a steady increase in profit. [The net profit is nearly five times the initial margin. The important thing here is the number of lots. In extreme cases, if the lot size is recklessly large, the [net profit] can be reduced to as much as 5 times the [initial margin]. [However, the important thing here is the number of lots. In this back test, the number of lots is fixed at 0.1. In other words, the number of lots is sufficiently small. [However, in this back test, the lot size is fixed at 0.1, which means that the net profit is nearly 5 times the initial margin. In addition, the [Profit Factor] is as high as 1.54. It's not a nan-pin system, but for the past 13 years. [The total number of trades has exceeded 2,000 times. There are few cases that have maintained such a high level of profit factor. And [maximum drawdown] is the most important item. The stability of an EA can be estimated to some extent by how much this item is kept under control. The stability of the EA can be estimated to some extent by how much the value of this item is kept low. Although each developer may have a different opinion on this item, I would like to point out the following. However, if I were to develop a non-numping EA, I would set I would keep it to less than 250,000 yen or 25% of 1 million yen margin. Of course, this number would have to be small. In this EA, we have been able to achieve a low number of 14.88%. Next, we check the risk-return ratio. [Net profit] / [Maximum drawdown] = 4898496.99 / 209588.74 = 23.4! I know it's a historical chart, but... You can expect a return of more than 20 times the risk you accept. Finally, take a look at the earnings graph. Since this EA is not a nan-pinning system It is not a straight line graph as if a ruler was placed on it and a line was drawn neatly. It is not a straight line graph. While accepting moderate drawdowns The graph is a steady rise while accepting moderate drawdowns and drawing small waves. ■■■Parameters■■■■■■ k-cody-gbpjpy02.png [Magic]=20193004 (default value) Set a value different from other EAs. No matter how many times a position is entered, the number of lots specified in [Lots] will be used. The entry will be made at a simple interest rate. [Max_position] is limited to a maximum of 3 lots. It can be as low as 2 or as high as 1. Basically, these parameters do not need to be changed. However, [Magic], [Lots], and [Max_position] should be changed according to your individual style. Please change them according to your individual style. ■■■ Entry Status■■■■ Entry Status Entry and settlement will be made as follows k-cody-gbpjpy03.png blue lineis the entry and settlement of the long, and red lineis the entry and settlement of the short. The case of a trade being closed can be The case of settlement can be one of the following three patterns: stop, limit, or trailing stop. The case of settlement can be one of the following three patterns. Q1: Can I operate with any broker? A1: Please operate with a forex company that operates on GMT+2 (GMT+3 in summer time). In Japan, Rakuten Securities, Gaitame Finest, OANDA JAPAN, FOREX EXCHANGE Co. Golden Way Japan, EZinvest Securities, etc. Q2:Is it possible to carry over positions over the weekend? A2: In many cases, we hold positions for several days as swing trades. We sometimes carry over positions to the following week. Q3: Is it necessary to set summer or winter time? A3: No, it is not necessary. Q4: Can I use one MT4 to run other EAs at the same time? A4: It is possible to operate simultaneously. However, if both this EA and the other EA have unrealized losses while the margin is low there is a possibility that they will fall below the margin maintenance rate and be forced to close. Q5:Can I close positions manually? A5: Yes, you can. However, if you have multiple positions and close only some of them However, if you have multiple positions and close only some of them, there is an undeniable possibility that they may not move properly afterwards. When closing manually, please close all positions at once. Q6:Can I change the parameters? A6: Yes, you may change them, but However, if you change them in the direction of high return, please operate with caution after conducting a back test, etc. Please operate with caution. In particular, we recommend that you do not increase the parameters related to the lot size more than necessary. We recommend that you do not increase the lot size beyond what is necessary. Basically, as per the parameters Lots] = 0.1 and [Max_position] = 3 for 1 million yen. There is no problem in changing to the low-return direction. About Forex Automated Trading
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.

To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.

[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.

・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.

[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.

・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.

・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.

[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.

・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.

Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.

Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.

The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).

Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.

If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
EAs from GogoJungle can be used with one real account and one demo account per EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.

To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.

When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
If you encounter an error with Web authentication, or if the EA is trading on GogoJungle's forward performance page but not on your own account, there could be various reasons. For more details, please refer to the following link:
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:

1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units

For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Profit Factor: Total Profit ÷ Total Loss
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
