I challenged the universality to the market!
Thank you for your interest in EA-SoRA-Dev.Edition (hereinafter referred to as SoRA Developer Edition). My name is takah, the author. EA-SoRA-GW.Editionis a fully upward compatible version of the EA-SoRA-GW.Edition (hereafter referred to as the SoRA GW Edition) that we released in May 2019 as part of our Goldin Week campaign. The market is often quoted asrandom walkand are said to move outside the range of human prediction. We have considered what it takes to win in such a market. To answer this question, I focused on simplifying the logic. EAs, as they are called "automated trading," automatically calculate entry and settlement points and trade a predetermined number of lots. These entry and settlement points are automatically calculated by the EA's logic. For example, let us compare an EA with 10 entry logics with an EA with only 2 entry logics. The former will not make an entry unless all 10 conditions are met, while the latter will make an entry if two conditions are met. This means that the more entry logic there is, the fewer entry points there will be, and therefore, the less reproducible it will be to the market. The same can be said for the settlement logic. The more settlement logic there is, the more complicated settlement decisions become, which may also result in lower reproducibility in the market. Therefore, I have decided to useLogic SimplificationWe conducted a thorough study of the logic with the aim of As a result, theUsing only Bollinger Bands, two entry logics and one closing logicIt is very simple thatSoRA Logiccompleted. In general, simplifying the logic tends to make it more versatile, but at the same time, it tends to result in poorer performance. However, SoRA Logic has succeeded in delivering results despite its simplicity. In addition, SoRA logic has proven to be suitable for multiple currency pairs and multiple time frames. These are the reasons whyWe believe that SoRA logic is likely to be highly universalThe following is a list of the most common problems with the "C" in the "C" column. In the SoRA GW EditionEA09-AoSoRA- (Eurodollar version), ,EA10-AKISoRA- (dollar-yen version), ,EA11-HISoRA- (Euroyen version)The SoRA Developer Edition will be released as a full version that can run from 5 minutes to 4 hours. In developing each strategy, we have characterized them as follows Short-time leg pairs (5-minute, 15-minute, and 30-minute legs): Short-term settlement with high winning rate, small gains and large losses (scalping-type movements) Long time leg group (1 hour, 4 hour): Settlement for a long period of time with low to medium and small rate type gains and losses (dayre - swing type movements) ■Short-time leg pair movement (30-minute Eurodollar, 1/23/2020-24)SoRA Features
SoRA is built on a logic that uses only Bollinger Bands. Bollinger Bands are used in many different ways, but SoRA sets up orthodox forward trades that aim for a band walk. We also use Bollinger Bands for settlement. I call this logic "SoRA LogicThe SoRA logic itself is very simple, and therefore, we believe that it is not easily over-optimized and is highly universal. ■ Examples of SoRA entries and settlementsQ&A
Q1: What isCan I use it with any currency pair? A1: A1.We do not limit the currency pairs, so any currency pair can be used, but we have set it so that it will not work with the wrong currency pair. Q2: What isCan it be used on any time frame? A2: A2: A2We do not limit the time frame, so any time frame can be used, but the system is set up so that it will not work if the wrong time frame is used. Q3: What is theWhat spread do you expect? A3: A3The currency pairs are assumed to be Eurodollar, Dollar-Yen, and Euroyen. The Tick Data Suite was used in the development of the system in order to ensure accuracy, but the system is designed to operate within a maximum of 3 pips (the default is to not enter when the spread exceeds 3 pips). We recommend using brokers with narrow spreads. Q4: What isIs this service available at any brokerage firm? A4: A4Basically, the EA can be used with any brokerage firm. However, since the short-time leg group uses tick trails, the tick width may get stuck at the stop or freeze level, resulting in an error (error control is performed in the EA). In such cases, please set the tick width above the stop or freeze level, or use only long-time leg pairs. If the tick width is increased, the EA may not perform as it should, so we strongly recommend that you confirm the change in tick width by back-testing before operating the EA. Q5.Do you have forward test results (e.g. myfxbook)? A5: A5Myfxbook is available below. I also publish forward information and performance analysis on my website. Please refer to it if you like. myfxbook (https://www.myfxbook.com/members/takah/ea-sora-devedition/4128024) takah's EA Development Blog (http://fx-takah.blog.jp/) Q6.Which strategy's results are shown in your gogo-jumpers' forwards? A6: A6Gogojan's forwards were measured for all strategies (EA09-AoSoRA-, EA10-AKISoRA, EA11-HISoRA-) for all time frames (5 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 4 hour). (5-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, and 4-hour time frames). Q7.I would like to analyze SoRA in various ways, can I get backtest data (Strategy Tester Report)? A7: A7Backtest data with variable spreads using Tick Data Suite can be downloaded from the following URL. SoRA Developer Edition Backtest Data (http://fx-takah.blog.jp/StrategyTester_EA-SoRA-Dev.Edition_ver1.0.zip) Q8.How do I set up each strategy? A8: A8You can configure the settings in the included configuration file (set file). Please refer to the manual for details. Q9.What is the difference between each strategy? A9: A9.Each has the following characteristics EA09-AoSoRA- A strategy that operates in Eurodollar EA10-AKISoRA- A strategy for the dollar-yen EA11-HISoRA- A strategy that operates in Euroyen EAs with high winning rate, small profit and large loss, and scalping type EAs with trailing stop function (tick trailing) EAs with low to medium to small profit/loss ratios, day trading or swing trading type EAs. Q10.What does the manual contain? A10: A10.The table of contents of the manual is as follows 1. Introduction About EA-SoRA-Dev. 3. Introduction to SoRA 4. How to set up EA 5. Detailed Logic Explanation 6. Parameter Consideration (currently being written, will be updated later) 7. Conclusion 8. Contact Information 9. Parameter Worksheet 10. Revision History There are 102 pages in total. Q11.Can you tell me what parameters can be set? A11: A11.There are 119 parameters that can be set (17 for common buy/sell: 51 x 2 for individual buy/sell), but the parameters will be disclosed in the manual only to the purchaser. The details of the parameters will be disclosed only to the purchaser in the manual. Q12.Can you evaluate the strategies that you had created with parameter tuning? A12: A12Sorry, we do not evaluate strategies. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Q13.Can I distribute the configuration file (set file) created by parameter tuning? A13: A13: A13Distribution of configuration files (set files) is permitted only for those who have already purchased EA-SoRA-Dev.Edition. Q14.What comes with my purchase? A14: A14The main file (ex4 file), files for setting each strategy, and manual.Source files (mq4 files) are not eligibleSo, please note this in advance. Q15.Can I always win? And is it possible to make a profit in a short period of time, say a few months? A15: A15I don't know, SoRA is an EA designed to be run with a long-term perspective. Therefore, it may not meet the expectations of those who are looking for short-term profits. We are sorry, but we recommend that you do not purchase SoRA if you think this way. Q16.Why do you disclose the logic and all parameters of your EA? Wouldn't it be better to sell it as is, unpublished? A16: A16I do this because I believe that in order for an EA to be a viable investment, it is necessary to understand the logic behind it. This is also because there was a time in the past when I wished for such an EA and I am practicing it. Q17.Do you have any future plans for SoRA? A17: A17We are considering MT5 version, which will be developed by a closed community for purchasers and the source files will be provided to them. We are planning to do this after HANA has been converted to MT5, so the timing is undecided at this point. Q18.How do you use the participation prizes for the giveaways conducted on Twitter? A18: A18Please refer to my Twitter (@fxtakah) for the announcement about the prizes for participation in the giveaway.Version Revision History

About Forex Automated Trading
What is Forex Automated Trading (MT4 EA)?
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
Trading Types of Forex Automated Trading
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.
To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

Risks, Advantages, and Disadvantages of Forex Automated Trading
When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.
[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.
・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.
[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.
・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.
・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.
[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.
・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.

Equipment and Environment Needed for Automated Trading Operation
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.

Installation of MT4 and Account Login
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.
Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.

How to Install EA on MT4
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.
Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.
The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).
Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.
If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.

About the Size of Trading Lots
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units
For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
