■□□ Thank you. □□■

Many people have introduced Rhino_USDJPY to their friends and family, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

InvestmentNavi+.
I found your introduction from a slightly different angle to be very informative.

Automated Forex Trading for a Free Life (by libetac )
We are very happy to see that you appreciate our product introduction page, and we will encourage you in the future!

FX EA Verification! ( Mr. Larry )
I have been using this site as a reference since I first started using EAs, and I never thought that the day would come when I would be introduced to my EA.

The Diary of Additional Income by Automated Forex Trading. ( Mr. HINOTORI )
Rhino single-handedly picked up on your past article in which you said, "I haven't come across any EAs that I find as appealing as before ! "

Self-help efforts of W & E (Mr. Daburui of Reiwa )
Mr. Daburuey of Reiwa, a well-known senior in the EA world, introduced me to this site! I'm very happy to hear it, though the content is beyond my capacity.

ANGEL FX ( Mr. Karabusu, President)
We were introduced by Mr. Angel ( President Karabusu), the creator of the hit EA "Angel Heart"! From his article, it seems that he has decided to introduce Rhino_USDJPY!

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the many people who have expressed their support on Twitter.

We will continue to devote ourselves to you!

・Introduction of "Entry time limit function".
Entry day limit function" is implemented.

Outline

  • Rhino (read: Rhino, meaning: rhinoceros)
  • The target currency pair is USD/JPY.
  • Because it operates on an hourly time frame, it is less likely to pick up market noise than EAs that operate on shorter time frames , and trades with a greater sense of tempo than EAs that operate on longer time frames.
  • This is a trend-following day-trade type.
  • It is designed to emphasize the reproducibility of backtesting by making entries at the opening price.
  • The stop loss fluctuates according to market volatility, minimizing the chance of unnecessarily large losses.
  • The maximum number of positions is one position, and no bilateral trading is allowed.
  • It excels in markets with price movements and refrains from entry during times when price movements are relatively calm.
  • Automatic daylight saving time switching function.
  • We do not engage in high-risk trades such as nan-pinning or martingales.

Features □□ Features □□■

Extremely simple logic design

Rhino as much as possible. Simple Logic Design We have made a special effort to ensure that the
The core logic uses "RCI," which is not often used in EAs.
In addition, the entry logic is equipped with environmental awareness by confirming the direction of the long term axis.

Correlation with other EAs.

As mentioned above, Rhino uses the RCI as its core logic; the official name for RCI is "Rank Correlation Index. It is an indicator that ranks time and price and indexes their correlation, placing more weight on the most recent price movement.
The RCI is rarely used in EA logic, and Rhino trades that use this RCI in their core logic are likely to have lower correlations with other EAs already in operation and can be expected to improve their portfolios.

Therefore, we divided other EAs sold (or used to be sold) on Gogojungle by any category and checked the correlation between Rhino and each EA's profit/loss on a monthly basis using Quant Analyzer for profit/loss correlation on a monthly basis. (Click on the image to see a larger version)

In Quant Analyzer, "0.4 or lower" is considered a low correlation.
As shown in the image, Rhino's profit/loss correlation with all the EAs in Gogojungle's Top 20 Best-Selling EAs in the Systray FX Ranking does not exceed "0.3 ", confirming that the correlation is low, and we can expect improvement in our portfolio.

  • Correlation with EAs of the same currency pair

We checked the profit/loss correlation between Rhino and the type of EA that runs on the same USD/JPY currency pair. The correlation was also low overall, with more than half of the EAs showing a correlation of 0.1 or less. Correlation with all EAs is "0.3 or less" and even EAs of the same currency pair have low correlation The correlation was 0.1 or less in more than half of the EAs.

The correlation between Rhino and the EAs with a large number of users and positive performance was checked.
Only two EAs showed a correlation of 0.2 or higher, and even then it was 0.3 or lower. Even after confirming the correlation with such a large number of EAs, we can confirm that more than half of them have a low correlation of 0.1 or less, which is expected to improve the portfolio.

Low-risk design with escape mode

Rhino The "Escape Mode (1) " and "Escape Mode (2)" are triggered when the price moves in the opposite direction of the position after entry. Escape Mode (2) The "Escape Mode (1)" and "Escape Mode (2)" are equipped. ON/OFF can be toggled by setting parameters.

  • Escape Mode (1)
When it detects a sign that the market is about to move in a direction opposite to its position, it closes the position without waiting until the stop loss and escapes before it gets hurt.

  • Escape Mode (2)
After entry, when price movement can be detected as a sign of a sharp rise or fall in the opposite direction of the position, the position is closed and the escape is made.

Turning on the escape mode allows you to quickly close out a position, minimize losses, and prepare for the next entry opportunity.

From the back test, it was confirmed that of the trades that resulted in losses when the escape mode was turned on, approximately 85% or more of the trades successfully escaped with losses less than the maximum stop loss.

Stop loss fluctuates according to the volatility of the market.

A fixed stop loss in any market has the advantage of facilitating risk management. However, depending on the market volatility, the set stop loss may be too large or too small.
Rhino has a logic that varies the stop loss according to the market volatility.
However, if you simply vary the stop loss according to all volatilities, you may encounter a situation where the stop loss is set to be as large as several hundred pips during a certain phase.

Profit Mode and Win Rate Mode.

Rhino has a trailing stop function.
You can change the character of Rhino by turning this trailing stop function on and off.

  • Profit Mode
When the trailing stop function is turned off, " Profit Mode" is selected.
Instead of reducing the win rate, the risk reward (RR) is increased. Although the winning rate is reduced, the number of losing trades also increases, the risk reward is over 1.2, so you can expect a quick recovery since you can make more profit than you lose in a single winning trade. It is a small-loss, large-profit type and accumulates profits stably.
    Winning rate: 51.70% RR: 1.23 RF: 15.31 Net profit: $7,230 MAXDD: $472

  • Win Rate Mode
When the trailing stop function is turned on, you are in "win rate mode ".
Instead of reducing the risk reward, the win rate is increased. When the price movement stabilizes and moves in a positive direction after entry, the Take Profit (TP) is first released, and then it is followed closely until the momentum of the price movement wanes to prevent profit loss.
    Win rate: 59.44% RR: 0.91 RF: 17.13 Net profit: $6,474 MAXDD: $377

Equipped with a full range of time control system settings】 【Equipped with a full range of time control system settings】.

Rhino includes a variety of time control features to limit the opportunity for positions to be exposed to risk.

  • Position Holding Time Limit
The default setting allows for a maximum position holding time of 23 hours, limiting the opportunity for positions to be exposed to risk.

  • Weekend Position Forced Closing
Since contingencies often occur on weekends, we have made it possible to set up the system so that positions are not carried over on weekends.

  • Limit Entry during the Year-End and New Year Periods
Since there are fewer market participants worldwide during the year-end and New Year holidays and price movements tend to be volatile, we have made it possible to limit entries during the year-end and New Year holidays until the market stabilizes.

  • Automatic Daylight Saving Time Correction
Simply set GMT and the daylight saving time type to either U.S. or U.K. daylight saving time in the parameter settings to automatically correct GMT for the respective daylight saving time period.

  • Rollover Time Considerations
Most brokers do not accept orders before and after rollover time. If an order is flagged for entry or settlement at that time, the broker will delay the order until the rollover time has elapsed to avoid missing the entry or settlement opportunity.

  • Dealing with Momentary Order Errors
As you may have experienced if you have ever traded at your own discretion, there are times when orders are not passed momentarily in the forward operation of EAs as well. In such cases, the system retries the order after a few hundred milliseconds (maximum of 3 retries) to prevent missing entry and settlement opportunities.

  • Response to Other Order Errors
In case of communication failures of a few seconds to a few minutes, such as communication breakdowns, or order errors due to other reasons, the system is designed to retry a few minutes after the order error.

  • About Back Testing
Since Rhino' s broker for demo forwards in Gogojan runs at OANDA, we matched the variable spreads in the Tcik Data Suite as closely as possible to the spread environment of OANDA's live accounts. Back testing was performed with reference to the raw data of the average maximum spread, average minimum spread, and average spread over the last six months that were actually measured on the live account.
The system operates in both yen-denominated and dollar-denominated accounts. All backtest report results shown here are for dollar-denominated accounts. If you are using a yen-denominated account, please multiply the posted report results by 108 yen (as of 10/14/2019) to get a ballpark figure.

  • About Rhino
Rhino' s logic was developed using Dukascopy tick data and based on price movements over the period 2006-2016. We performed an out-sample test ( back-forward test) of the logic as it was developed, for the period 2017-2019.
We wanted the most recent three years for the out-sample test period, and we also wanted 10 years of data for the back-test period to confirm the superiority of the logic. As a result, we calculated backward from the present and used 2006-2016 for the logic development period and the most recent three years, 2017-2019 years were to be used for the out-sample testing period.

The following is a QuantAnalyaer backtest for the period from 8/1/2006 to 7/31/2016 (in-sample), separated by 3-year intervals. The year from 8/1/2006 to 7/31/2007 is omitted.

The main items are listed in the table.

Comparing the results for 8/1/2016 to 7/31/2019 with the results for the other periods, we find that the results are generally comparable and ratherOutsample has better results that the results of the other periods are not.

The profit/loss graph synthesized by QuantAnalyzer for these periods is shown below.

The profit/loss graph visually confirmed that the out-sample period after the in-sample period used to develop the logic remained intact.

Based on the above, this logic isThe logic was judged to be durable for actual operation. The logic is

Based on these results, each parameter was tuned and Rhino was born.

The Rhino results after tuning are as follows

Profit mode

Win rate mode

[Reproducibility of backtests.

We had been conducting a forward test at OANDA since September.

↓ Each mode is trending like this. (as of 10/11/2019)

Profit Mode (Forward)

The current forward results for Profit Mode are shown above. The tendency of the Profit Mode trades is to have a higher risk reward (payoff ratio) in exchange for a lower win rate.

Compared to the aforementioned backtest report results, the current forwards are slightly lower in terms of win rate, butResults significantly outperform with respect to risk reward and profit factor has been produced.

Win rate mode (Forward)

The current forward results for the win rate mode are shown above. The trend for trades in the win rate mode is that the risk reward (payoff ratio) is somewhat suppressed in exchange for a higher win rate.

Compared to the aforementioned backtest report results, the current forward results do not show much of a trend in the win rate mode, butRisk Reward and Profit Factor results are above expectations. in the current forward results. Since the number of trades is still small, we believe that in the future, the results will consolidate to the tendency of trades that the win rate mode inherently has.

As you can see, both modes of trading have been winning and losing, with a solid profitable trade in the forward as well.

So, we will back-test this same period of time as the forward using Tick Data Suite to see if it is reproducible.

Profit Mode (Forward period back test)

Win Rate Mode (Forward period back test)

This is how it looks like, but since it is hard to compare as is, I had Myfxbook read the results of this backtest report and display it in the same format as the aforementioned forward results.

The figure below shows them side by side.

Profit Mode (Top: Forward, Bottom: Back test)

It is easy to see when comparing them side by side. The curves are almost identical.

For profit mode comparisons, including profit/loss graphs, pips won, average amount of trades won, average amount of trades lost, win rate, profit factor, etc.Almost similar trade results It can be seen that the

Win rate mode (Top: Forward, Bottom: Back test)

Next is a comparison of the win rate mode.
Here we can see a slight difference in the profit/loss graph, but the shape is very similar and is moving in a positive direction.

grades, the backtest has more trades, but the overall performance of the backtest isForward results are better. is better than that of the backtest.

The above comparison suggests that the trades are generally similar, although there are some differences.

Details of the backtest report results imported into Myfxbook for each of the Profit Mode and Win Rate Mode for the above period are available at the following links.

Profit Mode (9/16/2019 - 10/10/2019)

→ Winning Mode (9/16/2019 - 10/10/2019)

Although it is a little early to conclude from the above, based on the current results, we have confirmed that there is little deviation between the backtest and forward results in both modes, and we believe that the backtest and forward results will be highly reproducible. We believe that we can fully expect a high level of reproducibility.

Spread Resistance.

We checked to see how much spread Rhino could withstand.

The backtest was conducted with fixed spreads, with the spread values set in steps ranging from 1.5 pips to 3.0 pips.

■ Profit Mode

Spread 1.5 pips

Spread 2.0 pips

Spread 2.5 pips Spread 3.0 pips

■Winning rate mode

Spread 1.5 pips

Spread 2.0 pips

Spread 2.5 pips Spread 3.0 pips

In both modes, the backtest with a fixed spread of 3.0 pips eventually turned negative, while the backtest with a fixed spread of 2.5 pips showed a struggle without turning negative, as shown in the profit and loss graph. 2.0 pips backtest seems a little less vigorous than 1.5 pips backtest. However, we believe that it is generally within the usable range.

or more.Rhino's recommended spread limit is 2.0 pips. The recommended spread limit is 2.0 pips or more.

[Results of the most recent backtests.

I have backtested the period up to the most recent (9/30/2019) on a monthly basis. The lot size is 0.1Lot.

I hope this is helpful.

[Finally]

Rhino may be a bit lacking in logic for those chasing high risk/high return, but it will be adored by those seeking low-risk/middle-return or better ^^.

We hope that Rhino can help you with your investment.

About Forex Automated Trading
Forex Automated Trading refers to trading that is automated through programming, incorporating predetermined trading and settlement rules. There are various methods to conduct automated trading, but at GogoJungle, we deal with Experts Advisors (hereinafter referred to as EA) that operate on a trading platform called MT4.
There are various types of EAs (Expert Advisors) for different trading types that can be used on MT4.
Just like discretionary trading, there are those that decide trading and settlement timings by combining indicators, those that repeatedly buy or sell at certain price (pips) intervals, and trading methods that utilize market anomalies or temporal features. The variety is as rich as the methods in discretionary trading.

To categorize simply,
・Scalping (Type where trades are completed within a few minutes to a few hours),
・Day Trading (Type where trades are completed within several hours to about a day),
・Swing Trading (Type where trades are conducted over a relatively long period of about 1 day to 1 week)
・Grid/Martingale Trading (Holding multiple positions at equal or unequal intervals and settling all once a profit is made. Those that gradually increase the lot number are called Martingale.)
・Anomaly EA (Mid-price trading, early morning scalping)

When engaging in Forex, there are risks in automated trading just as there are in discretionary trading.
However, a substantial advantage of automated trading is its ability to limit and predict risks beforehand.

[Risk]
Inherent to forex trading are the trading risks that undeniably exist in automated trading as well.
・Lot Size Risk
Increasing the lot size forcibly due to a high winning rate can, in rare instances, depending on the EA, lead to substantial Pips loss when a loss occurs. It is crucial to verify the SL Pips and the number of positions held before operating with an appropriate lot.

・Rapid Market Fluctuation Risk
There are instances where market prices fluctuate rapidly due to index announcements or unforeseen news. System trading does not account for such unpredictable market movements, rendering it incapable of making decisions on whether to settle in advance or abstain from trading. As a countermeasure, utilizing tools that halt the EA based on indicator announcements or the VIX (fear index) is also possible.

[Benefits]
・Operates 24 hours a day
If there is an opportunity, system trading will execute trades on your behalf consistently. It proves to be an extremely convenient tool for those unable to allocate time to trading.

・Trades dispassionately without being swayed by emotions
There is an absence of self-serving rule modifications, a common human tendency, such as increasing the lot size after consecutive losses in discretionary trading or, conversely, hastily securing profits with minimal gains.

・Accessible for beginners
To engage in Forex trading, there is no prerequisite to study; anyone using system trading will achieve the same results.

[Disadvantages]
・Cannot increase trading frequency at will
Since system trading operates based on pre-programmed conditions, depending on the type of EA, it might only execute trades a few times a month.

・Suitability may vary with market conditions
Depending on the trading type of the EA, there are periods more suited to trend trading and periods more suited to contrarian trading, making consistent results across all periods unlikely. While the previous year might have yielded good results, this year's performance might not be as promising, necessitating some level of discretion in determining whether it is an opportune time to operate.
The requirements for operating automated trading (EA) on MT4 are as follows:
・MT4 (MetaTrader 4. An account needs to be opened with a Forex company that offers MT4.)
・EA (A program for automated trading)
・The operating deposit required to run the EA
・A PC that can run 24 hours or a VPS (Virtual Private Server), where a virtual PC is hosted on a cloud server to run MT4.
If you open an account with a forex broker that supports MT4, you can use MT4 as provided by that forex broker. MT4 is a stand-alone type of software that needs to be installed on your computer, so you download the program file from the website of the FX company where you opened the account and install it on your computer.

Additionally, there are both demo and real accounts available. You can experience trading with virtual money by applying for a demo account. After opening a real account, you select the connection server assigned by the Forex broker, enter the password, and log in to the account.
When you deposit money into your account using the method specified by the forex broker, the funds will be reflected in your MT4 account, and you can trade.
To set up an EA when you purchase it through GogoJungle, follow the steps below:
Firstly, download the purchased EA file from your My Page on GogoJungle. You will download a zip (compressed) file, so right-click to extract it and retrieve the file named ‘◯◯◯ (EA name)_A19GAw09 (any 8 alphanumeric characters).ex4’ from inside.

Next, launch MT4 and navigate to ‘File’ → ‘Open Data Folder’ → ‘MQL4’ → ‘Experts’ folder, and place the ex4 file inside. Once done, close MT4 and restart it. Then, go to the upper menu ‘Tools’ → ‘Options’, and under ‘Expert Advisors’, ensure ‘Allow automated trading’ and ‘Allow DLL imports’ are checked, then press OK to close.

The necessary currency pair and time frame for the correct operation of the EA are specified on the EA sales page. Refer to this information and open the chart of the correct currency pair time frame (e.g., USDJPY5M for a USD/Yen 5-minute chart).

Within the menu navigator, under ‘Expert Advisors’, you will find the EA file name you placed earlier. Click to select it, then drag & drop it directly onto the chart to load the EA. Alternatively, you can double-click the EA name to load it onto the selected chart.

If ‘Authentication Success’ appears in the upper left of the chart, the authentication has been successful. To operate the EA, you need to keep your PC running 24 hours. Therefore, either disable the automatic sleep function or host MT4 on a VPS and operate the EA.
EAs from GogoJungle can be used with one real account and one demo account per EA.
If you want to use it with an account other than the authenticated one, you need to reset the registered account.

To reset the account, close the MT4 where the Web authentication is registered, then go to My Page on GogoJungle > Use > Digital Contents > the relevant EA > press the ‘Reset’ button for the registration number, and the registered account will be released.

When the account is in a reset state, using the EA with another MT4 account will register a new account.
Also, you can reset the account an unlimited number of times.
If you encounter an error with Web authentication, or if the EA is trading on GogoJungle's forward performance page but not on your own account, there could be various reasons. For more details, please refer to the following link:
→ Items to Check When EA is Not Operating
In Forex trading, the size of a lot is usually:

1 lot = 100,000 currency units
0.1 lot = 10,000 currency units
0.01 lot = 1,000 currency units

For USD/JPY, 1 lot would mean holding 100,000 dollars.
The margin required to hold lots is determined by the leverage set by the Forex broker.
If the leverage is 25 times, the margin required to hold 10,000 currency units of USD/JPY would be:
10000*109 (※ at a rate of 109 yen per dollar) ÷ 25 = 43,600 yen.
・Profit Factor: Total Profit ÷ Total Loss
・Risk-Return Ratio: Total Profit and Loss during the period ÷ Maximum Drawdown
・Maximum Drawdown: The largest unrealized loss during the operation period
・Maximum Position Number: This is the maximum number of positions that the EA can theoretically hold at the same time
・TP (Take Profit): The set profit-taking Pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・SL (Stop Loss): The set maximum loss pips (or specified amount, etc.) in the EA's settings
・Trailing Stop: Instead of settling at a specified Pips, once a certain profit is made, the settlement SL is raised at a certain interval (towards the profit), maximizing the profit. It is a method of settlement.
・Risk-Reward Ratio (Payoff Ratio): Average Profit ÷ Average Loss
・Hedging: Holding both buy and sell positions simultaneously (Some FX companies also have types where hedging is not allowed)
