The short signal on the 3-hour chart from last week and the timing synchronized on the 6-minute chart yield a profit of 88 pips
The short signal for the USD/JPY on the higher timeframe 3-hour chart of the Indicator Recovery has been confirmed for the first time in a while.
With this, we will aim for short entries only on the lower 6-minute chart.
If possible, it would be even stronger if the EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY short signals are also confirmed, allowing for a stronger yen appreciation trend.
Conversely, for beginners, focusing only on USD/JPY and not looking at other currencies is also an effective simple method.
It is difficult to judge correlations and negative correlations instantly, so simple is best.
The discretionary trading rule in the upper figure is a hypothetical image where Entry is made at the reversal points of the higher-timeframe and lower-timeframe signals using the Indicator Recovery on MT5.
There are 88 pips to the lowest price, but if a trailing stop was placed at about 10 pips, it seems to be about 78 pips.
The above was about the latest 3-hour trend signal and the timing of switching from long to short on the 6-minute chart in the direction aligned with it.
※ Note: After the 3-hour signal, the first signal that changes from short to long on the 6-minute chart should enter in the same direction as the 3-hour signal.
Even if the direction is the same, chasing it forever can lead to reversals like the second or third short signal in this case.
Please strictly adhere to these rules when using Indicator Recovery.
I plan to continue writing about ‘Indicator Recovery’ and the upcoming EA ‘Super Recovery’ that I intend to sell.
In the next article, I will show a backtest of ‘Super Recovery’ on OANDA Securities that is scheduled for release soon.
Backtesting in MT5 is highly compatible with high-spec recent PCs compared to MT4, making it very efficient when performing complex and extensive optimization tests.
‘Super Recovery’ has very complex parameters, so the optimization tests have many more combinations and require heavy computations.
In MT4, it probably took a lot of time to compute.
See you again!
