We have entered the period where next fiscal year's earnings forecasts are being watched.
At present, 117 companies are scheduled to announce their earnings on April 26.
After that, earnings announcements will intensify around the after-Golden Week period.
Whether next year will be an increase or decrease in profit is thought to be greatly influenced by the recent USD/JPY exchange rate.
Currently, with the USD/JPY rate around 107 yen, it is still difficult to forecast next year’s earnings.
On the other hand, as of April 17, the forecast EPS is 1705.51, approaching the recent high of 1705.60 on March 13.
Until the announcements, it might be better to keep positions slightly conservative.
