The United States where the inflation rate is not rising
Hello, I am Nikkei OP-uchi, the administrator.
Thank you very much for visiting this blog.
I would like to provide information that can be of use to everyone, so please support me.
Now, the theme this time isU.S. Inflation RateIn November, the U.S. consumer price index rose as follows.
Consumer Price Index: +2.2% (before seasonal adjustment)
The core excluding food and energy remained at +1.7%.
On the other hand, with the Federal Funds rate having increased by 0.25% recently, it is at 1.25–1.50%, so the real interest rate is slightly negative.
Thus, there isn’t much appeal of the dollar from the interest rate differential.
