Maintain around 29,000 yen
Nikkei Stock Average continues to fall sharply.
From the morning, selling led the way. As US stock index futures fell in after-hours trading, the market remained weak.
At one point, it hit a low of 28,875 yen, down 415 yen from the previous day.
In the second half, the downside narrowed, and by the close it remained in the 29,000 yen psychological barrier.
The Mothers Index continued to decline.
While the overall Tokyo market was led by selling, the emerging market also faced selling pressure.
It seems there was also unloading due to upcoming IPOs that may cause cashing-out next week...
Nikkei Jasdaq Average rose slightly for the fourth day in a row.
