Motherindexes rose for a third day
Nikkei Stock Average declines again.
In the morning, amid sparse cues, the high-priced tech stocks led selling to trim gains,
and the index fell to 28,801 yen in the first section (down 161 yen from the previous day).
After turning the corner, there was intermittent buying in stock index futures, so the decline was restrained, but the rebound was limited.
The mood to wait-and-see remained, and toward the close the market stayed in the upper 28,800s.
The Mothers index rose for the third day. Buying in biopharma shares was notable.
