Rebound
The Nikkei Stock Average fell.
In the morning, after gains in the Nasdaq Composite Index on the 7th, high-priced tech shares rose, and buying prevailed.
It temporarily rose to 29,140 yen (up 121 yen from the previous day).
After midday, with some selling in the futures, it softened again.
In the afternoon, it began with a larger downside.
During the lunch break, the Shanghai Composite Index and the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index weakened, serving as a weight,
and at one point it fell to the day's low of 28,897 yen (down 121 yen from the previous day).
Thereafter, it showed reluctance to fall further.
The Mothers Index rose sharply for a continued session.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section market remained volatile, but major Mothers issues supported it.
