TOPIX rose for a fifth consecutive day
The Nikkei Stock Average rebounded.
In the morning, following the retreat of expectations for early monetary tightening after the US market on the 4th, long-term interest rates fell and major stock indices rose in unison, prompting buying.
Immediately after the open, it rose to 29,241 yen (299 yen higher than the previous week’s close).
After a round of profit-taking, the gains narrowed, briefly retreating to 28,973 yen (31 yen higher).
In the late afternoon, upside momentum weakened.
The Mothers Index also rebounded.
