The Nikkei Stock Average ended with a sharp rebound.
On the back of a large decline as the long holiday approached at the end of last week, buying led the way.
At one point it rose 617 points from the previous week to a high of 29,430 yen.
In the afternoon session, although the market showed some stagnation with difficulty pushing higher, it rose by more than 500 yen just before the close.
The 75-day moving average (29,248 yen) was breached, moving closer to the 25-day moving average (29,411 yen).
A rise exceeding 500 yen had not occurred since 4/22 (679 yen), and it was the 6th trading day.
The Mothers Index fell for the third consecutive day.
After the holidays, the Tokyo market broadly advanced, but AI Inside <4488> [currently 23,300 yen, -7,000 yen] continued to hit consecutive daily limit-down, weighing on the market.
Tomorrow, price range expansion will result in a perfect match.
