Mother's slight rise continues
The Nikkei stock average fell back.
Following the trend of Nasdaq Composite Index in the U.S. reaching a new high on the 26th, some semiconductor-related stocks were bought,
and shortly after the open it rose to 29,187 yen (up 60 yen from the previous day), but buying did not continue, and it turned lower.
It wandered around the previous day's closing level for a while, but the upside was heavy and it gradually softened.
Near the close it fell to 28,990 yen (down 136 yen from the previous day).
From the market came that there were selling orders mainly from European funds focusing on large-cap stocks.
The Mothers Index barely stayed in positive territory and continued to edge up slightly.
