Mother’s decline narrowed
Nikkei Stock Average fell back.
From the morning, selling led the market, marking 29,516 yen, down 214 yen from the previous close.
There were moments when the downside narrowed afterward, but the overall pace remained lackluster.
Towards around 11:00, there were moves to curb the decline, but by the close of the first session the losses had slightly widened.
The Mothers Index plunged before 10:00, but narrowed the losses toward the mid-session
