Cherry blossom viewing weather
Today, a wonderful blue sky is spread out.
The contrast with the cherry blossoms is beautiful. I would love to go to hanami (flower viewing).
The Nikkei Stock Average rebounded for the first time in three trading days.
In the morning, supported by a decline in U.S. long-term interest rates, mainly tech stocks rose on the U.S. stock market on the 22nd, leading to buying.
It rose temporarily to 29,496 yen (up 322 yen from the previous day).
After the initial surge, it slowed for a while, then recovered at times, but buying did not continue, and the upside was reduced again.
The TOPIX rose for the first time in two days, but the gain narrowed toward the mid-session.
The Mothers Index rebounded, but in the final moments before the close it sank into negative territory.
