There was persistent selling in stock index futures, widening the decline.
At one point it fell to 68,4 by 2,000? Actually: It says 684 yen decline to 29,107. But ensure accurate: "一時684円安の2万9107円を付ける場面もみられた。" translates to "At one point it traded 684 yen lower at 29,107."
It recovered somewhat, but remained in the low range.
In after-hours trading, US stock index futures showed mixed movement: Dow futures fell while Nasdaq Mini futures rose.
The Mothers Index also turned positive temporarily, but closed lower for the session.
