【U.S. Stocks】市場は懐疑の中
Hello, I’m Lehman (@Lehman1980).
The S&P 500 index barely held around 3,002 points at the close on June 11,
and has been oscillating between 3,000 and 3,100 points.
This week, although the upside is heavy, it has closed with a positive day four days in a row,
even though the jobs report came in better than expected, it ended Thursday with a tentative up move. (Friday the 3rd is a holiday for Independence Day and markets are closed)
Perhaps the market is starting to look for factors other than new COVID-19 cases and deaths.
For example, additional U.S. government economic measures, whether economic indicators deteriorate or improve, or earnings reports from major companies.
If there are no measures taken, there could be disappointment selling to search for a second bottom, but with election considerations,
the U.S. government is likely to take some action.
Currently, pre-election opinion polls show Democrat candidate Biden ahead,
If President Biden is elected and capital gains taxes or higher taxes on the wealthy are enacted, that would not be a second bottom,
but a decline caused by different factors in the market.

Summary
There was an initial drop, but it did not continue, and it has recovered since.
By adjusting cash positions and continuing to monitor, I plan to stay on the sidelines for now.
In difficult market conditions, it may be good to pause trading temporarily or take partial profits to reduce or unwind positions.
