Hello everyone, this is Okachanman. In the video "What to watch this week in one minute," I’ve highlighted these points for this week.
First, the UK indicators and the end-of-year market. For the first point this week, the Bank of England (BOE) policy rate decision is coming up on Thursday at 21:00. Another important indicator: after last week's election, there are important indicators every day this week. There are important indicators every day from 18:30, so for the pound (GBP), I think we should pay attention to these indicators.
For the second point, the end-of-year market, trading volume is expected to decline quite a bit from midweek to the second half. Within that shrinking volume, several indicators will be released, and depending on the results, prices could move a lot. So I think we should be careful here.
This week, I also anticipate that trading volume will be quite low, so it should be a week for gradually adjusting positions and winding down trading toward the year-end. I plan to be careful to avoid substantial losses during this period.
