First, on point one: important speeches. This week, Fed Chair Jerome Powell is scheduled to testify before Congress. The testimony is planned for 1:00 a.m. on the 25th and 12:00 a.m. on the 14th, spanning two days. In addition, many other Fed officials and FOMC members are slated to speak. So I think you should pay close attention to their remarks.
Point two: U.S.-China talks. Last week, headlines about these talks caused big swings in the markets. This week, I think headlines about whether a deal can be reached or whether tariffs will be removed may move markets.
