Hello everyone, this is Okachanman. This is a video titled "What to watch this week in one minute," so I’ve highlighted this as the key point of the week: Brexit negotiations. This is the main focus for this week.
Regarding Brexit negotiations, actually they were scheduled to be decided last week, but the plan to approve the proposal in Parliament on the 19th was postponed. The approval process and voting are expected to take place this week. As for the voting, Reuters mentioned that it would likely be held on Tuesday the 22nd, but this has not been definitively decided yet. So somewhere this week I expect the voting to occur, and I want to keep an eye on it. Also, if it is rejected, the possibility of a no-deal Brexit could arise, so be careful.
I’ve drafted a simple flowchart. The plausible outcomes are a no-deal Brexit or a general election. There is also the possibility of a national referendum in which the current proposal might be included. I think these three options are the most likely. I plan to summarize the detailed content in my blog as well.
Additionally, on Thursday the 23rd, there will be European indicators, European policy rates, and Turkey’s policy rate. Thursday has many economic indicators, so I want to pay attention to these as well. The detailed content is written on the blog as well, so please take a look there.
