USD/JPY
Monthly & WeeklyThe recent sideways trend clearly shows a continued rise. Next, it seems likely to test the monthly high.
Daily & 4-hourIt has broken through the white horizontal line indicating consolidation. A pullback is possible, but the outlook leans higher.
Gold
Attention is on the decline in currency value; gold remains a clear buy, but it has broken the neatly drawn trendline and appears to be entering a corrective phase.
It’s a formation that may continue lower without taking out recent highs, but the long lower wick suggests buying pressure.
Oil may cause weekly trends, MA, and wicks to experience another pullback, but personally I view it as a dip buying opportunity.
S&P 500
Monthly & WeeklyThe uptrend continues but is in a consolidation phase; the weekly/daily MA that had shown a rebound image has broken through. Next is the monthly support/resistance flip and the monthly trendline, leaving substantial downside room.
Daily & 4-hourThe score is lower, and if early next week the decline accelerates, panic could ensue. Subsequent buying should be approached cautiously until a reversal is confirmed.
Nikkei 225
Monthly & WeeklyIt has broken the neatly drawn trendline, and based on the MA relationship, there is slightly more downside space than the S&P 500.
Daily & 4-hourThe chart mood changes considerably depending on whether the 4-hour timeframe breaks the recent high or low. If following the odds, it seems likely to test lower levels.
