【重要前提條件①】「12年間無破綻」嘅前提同開始時期帶嚟嘅風險
Hello, I am Yoko.
In the serialized column “Yoko and Kenji’s GOLD EA Mastery Notes,” we have been conveying the features and usage of RisingTide. This series is a separate feature.
Today, for those considering a purchase, the prerequisites you must knowwill be discussed. Together with developer Kenji, we will present the actual measured numbers as they are.
1. What was missing from previous guidance
Until now, on the product page, we have guided that “no losses for 12 years” based on backtesting with an initial margin of 1,000,000 JPY. We also disclosed backtest results and shown that the funds could withstand large drawdowns as the balance grew.
However, this disclosure method wasinsufficient.
On September 28, 2026, the official forward account (about 1,260,000 JPY) was stopped out in a gold drop of about $160–$170 within about two days. Further verification revealed the following.
Just before the same drop, if starting from zero, the required funds would be completely different.
The timing when customers start trading varies. The required capital, the account being managed, and leverage vary by individual. If you encounter a large drawdown immediately after starting, the required margin becomes larger. We had not fully communicated this. We apologize.
2. Reality check: what happened if you started on Sep 1
From September 1, 2026, when starting with the standard settings (lot multiplier 1.07, leverage 1:◎000, 0.01 lot), here is the result on September 28.
| Starting margin | Result | Minimum maintenance margin |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000,000 | 9/28 Stop out | — |
| 1,500,000 | Survived | 456% |
| 2,000,000 | Survived | 965% |
| 2,600,000 | Survived | 1,576% |
| 3,000,000 | Survived | 1,983% |
Note: The profit/loss of the four surviving conditions was the same amount (+234,006 yen).
From this result, the estimated needed capital on the product page was260万円以上、最低ラインは約130万円and the official forward of 1,260,000 JPY was slightly below this minimum line.
However, this is a figure for the “2026-09-28 type drop.”There is no guarantee that no further drops will occur in the future.Backtests enduring does not guarantee future safety.
3. Why I lowered the lot multiplier from 1.10 to 1.07
Kenji lowered the standard lot multiplier from1.07from 1.10. This is a comparison under the same conditions (1,260,000 JPY, start on Sep 1).
| Multiplier | Result |
|---|---|
| 1.05 | Survived (maintenance 821%・+191,736 yen) |
| 1.07 (new standard) | Survived (maintenance 212%・+234,006 yen) |
| 1.10 (old standard) | 9/28 Stop out |
Lowering the multiplier reduces the maximum potential loss. However, profits also decrease slightly.
4. Please read articles closer to your operating environment
Required capital depends heavily onleverage, account type, and operating modesince what each customer wants to know differs, the articles have been separated.
- For those considering operating with a high-leverage account(Episode 2)
- For those considering operating with a 20x leverage account(Episode 3)
- Operating modes (stable, aggressive, offensive) and the SET file(Episode 4)
- For those considering operating with a micro account(Episode 5)
5. We cannot promise “will not go broke”
Kenji says this.
RisingTide is a martingale-type (averaging down) EA. In a one-way decline, unrealized losses expand rapidly. Please use within the range of your own available funds and with reasonable settings. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
From now on, we will continue to convey both good things and not-so-good things with measured numbers.
