"Excuses won't earn you a single sentence" (From "Day Trading")
In last year's Liberal Democratic Party presidential election, with Keishi (Takahashi) leading, the dollar-yen and cross-yen pairs continued to rise, but when Kishiba (Ishiba) won the presidency after the vote tally, there was an extremely rapid plunge. I vividly remember as if all unrealized profits were dumped in an instant, and I was incredibly disappointed.
I harbored almost resentful feelings toward former Prime Minister Kishi (Kishida) as the kingmaker and the new Prime Minister Ishiba, but… perhaps this is also a kind of excuse.
I considered the possibility that Mrs. Takai might lose,
and closed out, then re-entered positions,
or at least booked partial profits. That would have been enough.
I am responsible for neglecting to consider possibilities and being complacent.
I will learn from this, Mr. Kishida, Mr. Ishiba.
Thank you very much (-_-メ).
There were also the following sentences in “Day Trading.”
“People can make excuses. Also, they can earn money.
However, it is impossible to do both at the same time.”
One of the two must be chosen.
I choose to earn money! I won't make excuses! (laughs)
