Mikasa tries to exploit an opening to kill the Female Titan but fails.
Levi: “Stop!”
Levi: “Hey!! Get out of the way!!”
Levi: “It’ll probably be fine. He’s alive. It’s filthy, but...
Don’t get involved with that thing (the Female Titan) anymore... fall back.
Don’t lose sight of the essence of the mission. Is fulfilling your own desires more important?
She’s your precious friend, isn’t she?”
In a trade of “Keep the rules!” you’ll hear it until your ears bleed.
Not being able to keep the rules means all sorts of emotions, including desire and fear.
You’re precisely losing sight of the essence of the mission.
In a life-or-death moment, Levi’s words carry weight, doesn’t it?
