【Why I somehow fail to recover the purchase cost of the EA】

When you think about purchasing an EA,
many people probably think first like this:
“How long will it take to recoup the original cost?”
“I want to recoup the purchase price quickly!”
I completely understand that feeling.
I myself used to live on about 35000 yen rent and take-home pay under 200,000 yen.
In such a situation, buying an EA that costs tens of thousands of yen took real courage.
That’s why it’s natural that the feeling of “I want to get it back quickly!” arises.
But――
Now I can say it aloud.
“The more I try to recoup the EA’s purchase cost, the more I fail.”
I have had that experience many times.
Because I was anxious to recoup,
I ended up over-leveraging more than necessary.
No matter how excellent the EA is,
if you operate beyond your acceptable risk,
a small market swing can cause large losses.
And as a result…
your trading funds decrease, and you can’t even think about recouping.
I haven’t gone bankrupt with EA myself, but I’ve had many close calls.
That’s why I want to loudly emphasize now――
“EA should be considered from a risk perspective, not just profitability.”
That’s the point.
Of course, I’m human, so
I also have the urge to earn big money right away.
Occasionally I challenge myself with discretionary trading.
But in the end, I think this:
“If only I had stopped there….”
EA trading is about
not winning, but not losing.
Be patient, deliberate, and planful.
EA is a tool for asset formation,
not a one-shot gambling tool.
Therefore, for anyone starting EA from now on, please have the perspective of
**“First, think from risk backward”**as a starting point.
Even if you don’t rush, by following the correct method,
I believe EA will reliably produce results.
