To English (keeping HTML format, not markdown, same line, with standard decoding applied): 7/26★Sometimes I borrow the power of ChatGPT, episode 136
FX Automated Trading, the EA developer's Reiwa-era Double-E.
This series, which I’ve been writing aiming for a daily post since last year.
I think I’ve managed to continue for about a year now!
If you read what I have written so far,
you’ll surely move closer to better EA management, I’m confident.
And, since I want to take a short break,
I’d like to continue posting with the help of ChatGPT.
From time to time, I will post irregularly as I have done before.
【Now, for those who are serious, the EA industry will reward you】
“I want to improve the EA community.”
I feel the same way as other stakeholders.
That’s why, even if it takes time,
if we can align things little by little,
it will eventually become a power.
■ What I am doing now
The past is important as background, but
the really important thing is “now.”
What actions am I taking now?
What results am I producing now?
Whether that allows me to earn a living is the current standard of evaluation,
and I believe that should be the case.
■ There are failures. But I have a conviction.
Naturally, there are failures when you take action.
If you fear them and do nothing, nothing will change.
Therefore, I want developers who work honestly with conviction to be fairly evaluated and seen in the light.
To that end,
we need to raise the literacy on the customer side more.
I feel this is also our industry’s responsibility.
■ But reality is still far from ideal
Honestly speaking, there is still a long way to go.
People still fall for exaggerated ads,
and are driven by the thrill of “short-term profits,”
and end up buying poor-quality EAs.
■ The choice to take the middle road
Therefore, as a realistic option at this point,
we have discussed with stakeholders that
we may consider distributing a “decent EA” to a company that uses exaggerated advertising.
That does not mean we are “colluding with evil.”
Accepting the current market reality,
before touching a poor EA,
to offer at least a decent option first—
Otherwise, in the end, many will come to us only after they have lost a lot of their assets.
That is too late.
■ Looking to the future
Of course, I don’t think this is ideal.
Eventually, the whole industry’s literacy will rise,
and an era will come where only honest developers’ EAs are fairly evaluated.
But for now, we’re still in the middle of that process.
That’s why we must keep moving now.
With conviction, we must do things one by one.
By sharing this view,
I hope to move the EA industry in a better direction, even a little.
And I’d be happy if, someday, you who read this could join me in building that future.

【How to choose an EA】
Now that you feel you can operate an EA,
you might think, “I can’t tell which EA will win... I don’t want to lose money...”
Therefore, Reiwa’s Double-E has published the following articles to help you determine quality through backtests.

Forward testing is important,
but the backtest supports it.
Backtest period is usually longer than forward,
and whether you win by chance in forward can be estimated by mastering backtest evaluation methods.
【How to manage EA risk?!】
And even if you obtain a highly capable EA,
FX collapses if risk management is neglected.
So for EAs, how should risk be managed?
