[Oohira · Cryptocurrency] Thank you for all your help this year.
Thank you for subscribing to Investment Navigation this year.
Thank you very much.
The cryptocurrency market in 2018
began with the Coincheck breach at the end of January
and experienced a year-long, major
crash, making it a very
difficult market.
Bitcoin fell from 2 million yen
to 400,000 yen.
Altcoins dropped by about 90%
and so on.
In 2019,
factors going forward include
・Approval of domestic cryptocurrencies
・The launch of Bakkt (exchange)
・Nasdaq Bitcoin futures
・Domestic ICO regulations progress and some ICOs may start (perhaps)
etc.
What I am considering about the current state of cryptocurrency
is whether there are always opportunities.
It’s about whether there is a chance at any time.
.
In 2017 I invested 100 million yen in Ripple
and increased it to 1.2 billion yen,
and Yozawa Tsubasa said,
“When no one is buying, that’s when you must
start accumulating.”
He has stated this.
Whether in stocks or cryptocurrencies,
I feel there is an edge there.
Since 2016 I have participated in cryptocurrency investments,
and even in 2018 I continued to invest in currencies,
so those currencies carry losses, but from 2016 onward
the currencies I invested in have been positive, so overall
it is a positive total.
However, I am not resting on my laurels;
each significant drop prompts me to consider,
“Is there a buying opportunity?”
I view it from that perspective.
Currently opinions diverge between the market being at a bottom and rising from here or
“there is still a possibility of further declines.”
But when the situation changes, it is important to
make a proper judgment (adapt to the change).
If there is one more drop in the market,
I will consider buying opportunities there.
If prices rise in the future,
such investments will start to yield profits sooner.
In 2019,
the market may not experience the steep volatility seen at the end of 2017
perhaps, but from January to December 2019
I believe there is room for it to rise.
With that said, this year as well
