MT5 makes multi-timeframe analysis even more powerful
|
Last time, you explained how to use multi-timeframe analysis to solidify the basis and strengthen your edge.

| Let's get started. As the first example, what kind of analysis exists? |

For example, let's check the USD/JPY charts on the 4-hour, 15-minute, and 12-minute timeframes.
Looking at the shape of the RCI, there were points circled in white on the chart where a pullback sell could be considered.
Even on MT4's 15-minute chart, signals appear, but using MT5's unique 12-minute chart allows you to catch pullback sell signals sooner.
This is the unique strength of MT5. |

In a pullback-buying scenario that breaks a counter-trend line, signals lit up first on the 3-minute chart, followed by the 4-minute chart.
A good example of stacking the rationale across multiple timeframes. |

Techniques to solidify the basis with multi-timeframe analysis
|
| Next, please explain cases where signals light up consecutively over time, taking more time to develop. |

In the EURNZD daily chart, a pullback selling scenario is observed during a corrective decline.
During the drop, pullback selling signals lit up in sequence on the 1-hour, 2-hour, and 3-hour timeframes.
This is an approach made possible by MT5’s finer timeframe settings, enabling the waiting for signals across multiple timeframes. |
