Reiwa no daburu-i and Gogojan: The Story

Well, maybe no one wants to listen, but…
a light retrospective of Gogojan’s history.

The first listing was at the end of 2016.
It was a classic buy-the-dip, back-and-forth EA.

At that time I couldn’t program by myself,
so it was outsourced to be created.

Back then Gogojan wasn’t called Gogojan
and it was named “FX-ON.”

During that era there was deflation or a “low-price era with thin profits,”
even famous EA developers priced at 12,000 yen or 9,999 yen,
where EA prices that had been around 35,000 yen dropped, causing a collapse,
and there was a period when nothing would sell unless prices were very cheap.

Afterward, a salesperson changed from Mr. N to Mr. H to Ms. I,
and I myself began producing many types of EAs, leading to mass listings,
(and among them, if some performed well they would sell; there was a shallow belief that new entrants would not sell even if there was a good EA, so I listed many EAs at once, which caused some customers who bought underperforming EAs to feel truly sorry…)

Among them, the “Copernicus Basic USDJPY version”
had a unique logic that didn’t fit any single genre and performed well,
and even when I was bedridden with influenza, it kept selling,
and I felt very grateful.

Afterwards, the salesperson changed to Mr. M and Mr. Y,
and during that time I also listed an AUD/CAD EA, which was rare at the time,
(later others increased AUD/CAD EAs, I think).

At first, the goal wasn’t sales,
but to create a portfolio that could work for my own trading,
developing various EAs across different currency pairs and timeframes,
and from those, including real trading, I would list the EAs that were good!

Through those experiences, both the sweet and bitter, I accumulated a lot,
and now I aim to share better EA operations, reflect on the EA industry as a whole,
and this is what I’m determined to do.
This is how I arrived at the belief stated at the bottom of this message.

I have won Gogojan Awards twice,
but there are still many EAs I want to create that aren’t realized yet.
