Probably we have continued for nearly a year now!

There are always times when an EA undergoes a slump
Have you ever heard the saying that “there is no holy grail in EA”?
No matter how excellent an EA is, market conditions always change, and a slump will inevitably come. This is a reality shared by all EAs.
However, when you try to build a portfolio by purchasing various types of EAs, it requires substantial funds. Therefore, many people operate with just one EA.
As a result, when faced with a slump, seeing actual funds decrease, anyone would feel stressed. I feel the same.
Questions to ask before letting emotions drive you
When EA performance is poor, you may want to say something. But is that really the only cause?
Are you conducting objective risk management?
Can you determine whether the drawdown is within expected ranges?
Are you setting risk based on emotion?
Moreover, are you carrying daily life dissatisfaction? Stress from work, home, and relationships may amplify the reaction to EA underperformance.
Are you falling into “external blame” thinking?
Do you think, “I’m not doing anything wrong, so it’s not my fault”?
External blame thinking: blaming causes on things other than yourself, and stopping your thinking.
An attitude of seeking benefits without effort.
If you fall into these kinds of thoughts, you cannot achieve fundamental problem solving.
Moreover, this attitude will negatively affect not only EA operation but life in general.
The importance of thinking “the cause lies with me”
In EA operation as in life, you cannot control the environment or others.
However, you can change yourself.
Instead of lamenting the slump, face your inner self and think as follows.
Introspect and change your awareness: “The cause lies with me.”
Start by doing one thing you can do.
I believe this is the key to turning life around.
You cannot control the market environment, but you can control your actions and mindset.
From today, step by step, accumulate what you can do.
