To put it simply, MT5 is the “evolution version” of MT4. Too simplistically said, right? (laughs)

This allows EA creation and optimization to adapt to more patterns.

MT5 has more standard indicators and drawing tools, expanding the scope of analysis.
【Economical calendar viewable within the platform】
MT5 has an economic calendar built-in, allowing you to directly check key economic indicators and events within the platform.
It can be displayed on charts, which is very helpful when performing discretionary trading or operating EAs that need to pause for economic indicators.
【Advanced backtesting】
MT5 enables backtesting across multiple currency pairs, and you can view detailed backtest results without using Quant Analyzer.
Also, MT5 allows downloading real tick data from various brokers within the platform, so high-precision backtesting is possible for free without using Tick Data Suite (TDS).
【Faster processing speed】
Processing speed is faster than MT4, and startup and operation are smoother. This is very helpful when trading many trades.
These are the main advantages of MT5.
With more analysis options and lighter operation, it’s a convenient tool for discretionary traders as well.
