Laundry and FX: an unexpected common point
Everyone does laundry in daily life, right?
Have you ever paid attention to the amount of detergent?
For example,

there is actually an optimal amount.
If you put in too much, it becomes full of foam, and the washing machine may not run well, leaving dirt behind.
Too much detergent can ruin the washing.
Actually, this also applies to FX trading.
In FX, “the right amount” matters
If you trade with a lot size that doesn’t match your capital,
you may see profits temporarily increase, but the risk also increases and the risk of ruin grows.
Just like laundry won’t go well if you put in too much detergent, the proper amount is needed for the intended effect.
In EA trading, “the right amount” is important, and thorough money management enables stable operation.

Learning risk management from daily life
In FX trading, risk management is important, similar to risk management in daily life.
There are many risks in daily life such as earthquakes, fires, and illness, and many are invisible and hard to notice.
But the invisible risks may be the scariest.
In FX, because funds fluctuate in real time, you can feel the risk in a visible way.
This is another advantage: in daily life, risks are often invisible, but FX makes them easy to notice.
Because risk is visible, measures can be taken
Conversely, FX where risk is visible is easier to manage if you take proper measures.
Invisible risks like viruses are hard to deal with, but
FX allows control of risk through data and fund management.
Summary
I feel there are lessons about FX risk management from daily life.
Just as with the “right amount” in a washing machine, maintaining the right amount in FX trading enables safe and stable operation.
Thorough risk management ultimately leads to success in FX.
By leveraging small daily insights,
you might gain new perspectives when facing FX.
