This series has been written with the aim of posting every day since last year.
We have probably continued for nearly a year now!
If you read what has been written so far,
I believe you will come closer to better EA operation.
Also, there are times when I want to take a short break,
so I’d like to continue posting by borrowing the power of ChatGPT.
Occasionally, I will post irregularly as before.

Today we discuss the theme of“eliminating the motive to buy simply because it is cheap”.
We buy many things in daily life,
and among them there are purchases ranging from temporary consumables to lifetime items.
For example, a home or a car is a big purchasethat involves a long-term relationship with youand is likely to be a lifelong commitment.
Therefore, it’s important to think carefully before making a decision to buy.
When making such large purchases,**“because it’s cheap”** is unlikely to be the sole reason for choosing.
Rather, you think carefully, examine thoroughly, and purchase only when you are convinced.
Just as you would choose a marriage partner, not only price but value and future potential are important when deciding.
Here, I think the same applies to an EA (expert advisor).
An EA is a tool you may use for life.
FX automated trading can become a long-term partner that grows your assets if you choose the right “EA” and manage risk properly.
However, when you choose an EA, haven’t you bought it because it was cheap?
“I bought it because it was cheap” is an unexpectedly risky way to purchase.
For example, if you don’t thoroughly check the backtest and forward test,
and you buy without understanding the internals and performance, drawn only by price,
it becomes difficult to operate it long-term. As a result, you may suffer unexpected losses.
Of course, if you happened to buy an EA that happened to be discounted after careful consideration, that’s a different story.
**“Buy not because it is cheap,”** but**“I obtained it cheaply after thorough conviction”**** is fine.
However, conversely, when the motive is first “buy because it’s cheap,”
you may not have the experience of running that EA for a long time afterward, right?
That’s why you should actively **eliminate the motive to buy simply because it’s cheap**.
When selecting an EA, you should confirm its performance, reliability, backtesting and forward testing results, and purchase only after you are convinced, not based on price.
Otherwise, the probability of failure in EA operation rises sharply.
