On the price balance of EAs and industry challenges
Hello, I’m the EA developer Reiwa’s Double-E.
Today I’d like to talk a little about **“EA price balance.”**
So far I have listed EAs with various vendors.
And sometimes the same EA is listed with multiple vendors.
In such cases, price differences and differences in services may arise.
This often yields results that are not favorable to users.
Challenges when listing with multiple vendors
From a certain vendor, we may receive requests like “Please list the EA under a different name from other vendors,”
“Please adjust the price,”
The reason is simple: “If it’s listed cheaper at other vendors, our EA won’t sell.”
This is the reality of competition in capitalist markets,
but as an EA developer, I want to offer the best possible form for users.
Reality of capitalist society
In capitalism, the most capable vendors naturally survive.
However, it is also important for sellers to value their relationships with vendors.
If you don’t accept vendor requests to some extent, there is a risk of unnecessary harassment or disadvantages.
To ensure no disruption to user services, some compromise and adjustment are necessary.
Prioritize users’ profits
Even so, I want to consider users’ profits as much as possible.
Ultimately, which EA users choose and whether that EA yields long-term profits is what matters.
Seeing the entire industry, I think transparency in EA pricing and service contents is beneficial to users.
Therefore, I hope the entire EA industry gradually moves in a better direction, and I will devote myself to that.
Conclusion
I sometimes feel a dilemma as a seller regarding price balance and differences between vendors.
But, in the end, users’ interests come first.
From now on, I will continue to steer toward a better direction for the EA industry, while taking action myself.
As an EA developer, I will continue to do my best for users, so please keep supporting me!
