Among them, I feel that the surprising aspect of **“fastidiousness”** may actually be one of the traits of successful people.

Among successful people, sometimes they become fastidious in the middle of an interview or adopt a deliberately stern attitude. Of course this does not apply to all, but at least many successful people show a strong commitment to meticulousness or staying true to their own principles.
The relationship between the success-focused “fastidiousness” and principles
Whether a professional baseball player or an EA developer, what’s common among those who succeed is that their ideals and vision of success are very clear. Therefore, they scrutinize even minor details that others rarely notice and maintain a stance of not compromising on them.
As such strong fixation grows, others may find them “fastidious.” However, in reverse, it shows that their path and goals for success are clear and they are always striving to do their best.
Strengths of people who pay attention to details
For example, in EA development, successful developers pay attention to the details. From logic construction and backtest data to risk management calculations, everything is often thoroughly calculated. Such fixation sometimes leads to friction with others who don’t understand.
This “attention to detail” is the driving force behind a successful person's results. In professional baseball too, tiny aspects like swing angle and body movement are meticulously refined, contributing to large achievements.
“Fastidiousness” might be part of success
Of course not all successful people are fastidious, and it isn’t necessarily a required element. Yet, the mindset of paying attention to details and staying faithful to one’s principles is undoubtedly one of the factors of success. And sometimes that shows up as “fastidiousness.”
