【MT4】 Introduction to the Chart Changer Tool

Objects on a single chart remain common even when the symbol is changed

All objects drawn on MT4 charts (trendlines, horizontal lines, labels, etc.) remain the same even when the symbol (currency pair) is switched.
Therefore, when you drop the symbol from the market watch or switch charts with another chart-switch tool, the objects are not switched.

At least for me, I don’t know of any symbol-switching tools that also switch objects.

This tool isnot only capable of performing one-tap chart switching, but also backs up the objects before the switch and can restore them after the switch..

Somehow Android MT4 allows object switching by symbol…
（Probably because it cannot display multiple charts, MetaQuotes likely implemented it intentionally）

How it works

We captured a video showing how this tool operates, please take a look.

As of November 2018, the USD/JPY and CHF/JPY ranges were almost the same, making a perfect sample.
I drew the USD/JPY line in red and the CHF/JPY line in yellow.
After drawing the lines, I used the tool to switch the charts.
On the USD/JPY chart, the yellow line drawn for CHF/JPY disappears, and conversely on the CHF/JPY chart the red line for USD/JPY disappears.

This is a clear example, but when you draw a long-term trendline on a dollar-street pair's longer time frame, it is often unclear on which chart the line was drawn.

Playful feature

We’re unnecessarily particular about the UI. (￣▽￣)

The open/close of the menu is animated.
During animation, depending on your environment, performance may become heavy, so we provide an ON/OFF switch in the settings.
