Started FX as a Natural Interest and Side Job
Since joining a domestic export company (manufacturer) in 2007, Dakar has worked in a department handling foreign exchange transactions. Due to the nature of his work, he often faces the exchange market, which naturally sparked his interest in FX. Then he thought, "I’ll start investing by leveraging my expertise," and began FX as a side job.
“If I hadn’t built up my professional knowledge in my main job to some extent, I don’t think I would have done FX. This is because, by nature, I’m a cautious person. In general, FX is talked about as ‘scary’ or ‘money can run out quickly,’ a dangerous image. If I hadn’t taken this job, I might have felt that way and avoided it. Coincidentally, the department I was assigned to after joining the company was Foreign Exchange Handling, which was the trigger for everything.”
Unlike other side-job traders, this is a rare pattern where the side job is an extension of the main job.
