[Translation] Fraud case! Accusing that thing using blockchain as a scam

I don’t really want to bring up these dark-sidish topics, so unless something truly extraordinary happens, I think this will be the last time.
It seems that project was a bit not-so-great after all. Before that,
In the cryptocurrency world, the word “scam” sometimes floats around. Scam means fraud, and a scammer means a fraudster.
Originally fraud is something illegal, but things that aren’t illegal yet feel deceitful or are highly suspected of being fraudulent (even if not strictly illegal) are collectively described as scams.
For example, any sales pitch that promises “guaranteed profits” or “will multiply tens of times in the future” is usually a high-risk sign in any field, and those are also called scams.
However, determining where exactly to draw the line for “scam” is difficult, and there are rare cases where something isn’t a fraud but still gets labeled a scam and causes controversy.
In Japan too, there are several projects openly moving in a scam-like direction, so if you’re interested in crypto investing, I recommend researching thoroughly first (not just by internet search, but by asking a few knowledgeable people what they think).
Also, for example, this Yahoo! Answers discusses and explains crypto investments and (from a trust-issue standpoint) whether introductions or solicitations should be avoided, I think (I don’t know if everything qualifies as a scam)
Personally, there are plenty of solid options elsewhere, so I wonder why people go for that one.
Now, the introduction has dragged on. It was an article from two months ago, but shall we read a translation about such scammy topics?
