A fulfilling autumn! Heikin-Ashi and SAR are working hard [Yuu Kiri]
Last week's results were 0 wins 2 losses…。
There’s no trend!
New coin toss trading rules using Heikin-Ashi
■Currency pair and timeframe
Display Heikin-Ashi on USD/JPY daily chart
■Trading rules
→ If the daily Heikin-Ashi for the day is bullish, enter a long; if bearish, enter a short
→ Take profit at 100 pips, stop loss at 90 pips with OCO setup
→ If the daily Heikin-Ashi is a doji, do not trade
■Notes
・Do not hold more than 3 positions at the same time
・Do not hold positions in the same direction when price difference is within 50 pips
・Trading only once per day
■Others
・In the article, "○ = profit taken" and "× = stop loss" are used.
・The first trading rule is explained in, “Starting the coin toss trading I had been curious about for some time.”
・Please check the most recent article for the latest trading rules.
・This trading started from a rule of buying on the coin toss front side and selling on the back side, but at some point, decisions have been made based on the color of the Heikin-Ashi. However, since it stems from the original idea, the name coin toss has not been changed.

Coin Toss Trading Performance: 10/1 (Mon) – 10/5 (Fri)
October 1 (Mon)
Heikin-Ashi was a doji, so no trade.
October 2 (Tue)
Buy → ×
October 3 (Wed)
Sell → ×
October 4 (Thu)
Heikin-Ashi was a doji, so no trade.
October 5 (Fri)
Heikin-Ashi was near a doji, so I passed.
Term count method fits this approach perfectly
I might think, “I’ve been doing poorly lately,” but when I look at the term count table, the loss on October 3 closed 14 wins and 14 losses for 1 term completed♪ That means 140 pips in profit since August 3.
In this term, the first half was strong and the second half was weak. Looking at it evenly, the win rate at the completion of one term is exactly 50%. The term count method has the nice ability to provide an overview of the current situation.
Having traded 120+ times with this method and keeping roughly a 50% win rate, I will focus on term counting for the diary from now on. When a term is completed, I will also write its performance.
I might further narrow entries
Like the Pound-Yen recently with low volatility, that’s a challenge for Heikin-Ashi trading.
Not only for doji candles, but also when the body of the Heikin-Ashi is short, I may skip entries.
In this chart, I would skip trades starting September 27.
AUD/JPY daily payout has decreased
Sake and hedge FX information.
DMMFX’s AUD/JPY daily swap payout increased from 31 yen to 36 yen per 10,000 units. Therefore daily payout dropped from 1140 yen to 840 yen…sad, but I’ll continue.
Bonus
It’s getting a bit cooler, so a spicy ramen journey♪ I tried Kikurage topping at New Tantan.
