If the Heikin-Ashi is a doji, the rule has been changed! [Yuu Kori]
Last week's entries were only two.
Looking at the daily chart, there was movement, but the timing to view the chart and the timing for trading didn’t align, resulting in this outcome.
On September 10th, because the Heikin-Ashi was in a cross-candlestick state, I decided to skip trading for the first time.
New Coin Toss Trade Buying and Selling Rules Using Heikin-Ashi (Updated September 18, 2018)
■Currency pair and time frame
Display Heikin-Ashi on the daily chart for GBP/JPY
■Trading rules
→ If the daily Heikin-Ashi is bullish for the day, buy; if bearish, sell
→ Take profit is 100 pips, stop loss is 90 pips, set as OCO
→ Do not trade when the daily Heikin-Ashi is a cross
■Notes
・Do not hold three or more positions at the same time
・Do not hold positions in the same direction if the price difference is within 50 pips
・Trades are made only once per day
■Other
・In the article, “○ = profit realized” and “× = stop loss.”
・The initial trading rule is explained in “Started coin toss trading, which I had been curious about for a long time.”
・For the latest trading rule, please check the most recent article.
・This trade started with the rule of buying on the toss face and selling on the toss tail, but at some point it shifted to deciding trades by the color of Heikin-Ashi. However, since this continues the original idea, the name Coin Toss has remained unchanged.

Coin Toss Trade Performance: 9/10 (Mon) – 9/14 (Fri)
September 10 (Mon)
As mentioned above, the Heikin-Ashi shape was not suitable, so there was no trade.
September 11 (Tue)
Buy → ○
September 12 (Wed)
There was a position within 20 pips in the same direction, so entry was skipped.
September 13 (Thu)
During the day movement was dull, and there was a position within 20 pips in the same direction, so no trade.
September 14 (Fri)
Buy → Carried over to the next week
Various Rule Changes
When the Heikin-Ashi is a cross, there is clearly no trend, so I think it might be good to skip trades in that case.
Now, the record stands at 56 wins and 56 losses, exactly 50% win rate. Profit and loss total +560 pips.
The term count is like this.
I will slightly adjust the trading rules: previously I avoided entering when there was a position within 20 pips in the same direction; moving forward, I will change this to within 50 pips.
Until I complete 100 trades, I wanted a larger sample for validation, and this rule change reflects that need as the data has accumulated considerably.
Bonus
Visited a popular soup curry restaurant I’d always wanted to try♪
It was a stylish place with many couples. Very satisfying taste as well.
