【About initial margin】

This item defaults to 10,000 USD.

If 1 USD = 100 JPY, that is 1,000,000 JPY,

If 1 USD = 150 JPY, that is 1,500,000 JPY.

Here you can also set the currency to JPY.

This is very important,

if you set the initial margin to 50,000 USD or more,

the maximum drawdown percentage naturally goes down.

Using this,

there are people advertising, “Maximum drawdown is only 1%!!”

so beware of such tactics.

Alternatively,

they quietly raise the initial margin,

to make the backtest not fail.

Even if it’s a winning EA,

what would you do if you needed 5 million or 10 million in capital?

There are various types of EA developers,

and those who just want to sell EAs to make money will do anything,

so please be cautious of such things.
